#soon.

It sucks a little bit because I really like this kid, he's gonna be really good at the next level. Personally, I'd rather keep him and drop Middleton, but I don't get paid to make those decisions.

I think we found some guys we feel will be a better fit for us, and I think Cox started seeing the writing on the wall after Elijah Simmons committed last week. That, and he's an Alabama kid and we were probably not going to hold on to him anyway.

Congrats in advance, Aubbies, you're getting a beast.

Second on the DO NOT WANT! Kid looks way too slow and plays to high. Looks soft to me.

Ot but didn't wanna start a thread. Speaking of vol d lineman, that do y'all expect from the transfer from Indy CC? I know absolutely zero about the guy other than at the end of this season of last chance u it said he signed with ut.

Gooden? He needs some actual coaching, which he didn't get at Indy CC. But he definitely can play, probably early, because we're thin at DT

There a lot of SEC bodied DL in the state of Alabama. Unfortunately a number of them lack proper development.

Who would have ever thought they'd see the day where University of Aubarn and Tennersee would be fighting to flip 3 stars?

Add me as a third on the no thanks train. This kid needs to be a nose tackle somewhere. I don't see him fitting in our scheme.

The reason we encouraged him to explore other options is because he's not gonna work as a nose tackle for us.

He is the top DT in the state without doubt this year. Pruitt has done an excellent job with his evals so far. I know Gardner really likes him so I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at AU. I don' think any of the DL in Alabama are dynamic in this cycle but he fills a need since AU will lose Russell and Williams as the run stuffers on the DL.

Come on. DJ Dale. Very good interior lineman from Pinson.

DJ is nothing more than a zero tech. Nothing game changing or dynamic about him. Solid depth guy for Bama but could easily find himself at Ole Miss or Arky if Bama hits on a monster DT.

Just that he got a lot of attention from Gus and is expected back for a game

Like others in thread I'm not super high on him compared to some other targets but we need a big DL class this cycle and if we cant flip someone like Charles Moore then he's a good developmental pickup

By all accounts, Moore enjoyed his visit to Knoxville. That's pretty much the extent of what I've heard.

Gardner likes him a lot is all we really know. I think he will have a spot in the class depending on how Derrick Browns season goes. Right now, he is expected to be a 1st to 3rd round guy and probably gone. We already lose our 2 other top DTs but we still could return a ton on DL. Honestly, we are in such good shape with our DL numbers it is shocking to me. Wasn't long ago, one injury would derail our season.
