Al Harris Jr

Son of fmr Green Bay Packer Al Harris.

Offers from FSU, ARK, GT, LOU, PSU, WISC, UCLA.

We are done at DB now, I think. Those of you after DJ Smith - good luck.

wouldn't have thought Al Harris was old enough to have a son this close to college yet.

Hopefully he is as good as his dad. Good pickup

Swag is automatically off the charts. Kid prob came out of the womb with dreads.

Yall remember whe his dad picked off Hassleback in OT in the playoffs and took it to the house for the win?

Harris Sr was a Pro Bowler, and won a Super Bowl, he's now the DB Coach for the Chiefs. He played 14 seasons in the NFL and 4 years in b/w HS and the Pro's at various schools. He was a great CB and him having a 16 year old son is totally conceivable.

His son plays at St Thomas in FL, they are a D1 factory.

Hopefully he'll use the resources we know he has to keep improving before he gets to USC. He is in KC right now training with his Dad. I think his ceiling is very high, especially if he can put on 20-25 lbs.

Yeah I think one of the knocks on Harris Jr. in evaluations is his weight, or lack of it. He's a bit on the thin side, but has a good frame at 5-11 to put on good weight, and our S&T is one of the best, so that shouldn't be any issue there. He's a solid red-shirt prospect, but should be good to go for 2015.....

If that is the major knock on him and he has his father's instincts, then he'll be a good one after a year or two of a college S&C program. Good get, cocks.
