I wouldn't doubt if this is true, but that being said, I don't see any definitive proof that the rankings have been tampered with in anything in this thread.
Based on the composite rankings, ledbetter would be UGA's 3rd best recruit and would be alabama's 9th best recruit. He is worth more in this particular scale to UGA than to Alabama.
And consider, that people below him once he dropped of of Alabama's rankings actually WENT UP IN VALUE because of the way the formula works and some of the people in UGA's ranking actually dropped in value.

Don't know that it should be THAT big of a difference though: both Bama and UGA have 20-commit classes, and UGA's class is only 4 spots below Bama's, and it's average ranking is only slightly below Bama's. Also, I don't think 247Sports even ranks the players in the fashion you mentioned , to begin with....

So the calculator actually showed 280 on it? Im calling bullshite. I just played with the calculator and even with Ledbetter gone, I had to subtract Calvin Ridley (our highest ranked recruit) and Rico McGraw before we dropped to 281.
