2016 3* PG Payton Willis Commits to Vanderbilt

Late riser from this summer in last two weeks pulled in offers from Dayton, Minnesota and Vandy this weekend when he committed on his visit. Looked for a long time like VUs PG commit was going to be a kid named Carsen Edwards from Texas who has SMU, Baylor & a few ACC offers.
Willis blew VU coaches away at the Peach Jam though and became the no.1 target there at PG. he's from NW Arkansas & Anderson didn't offer. Will be interested to see how his career develops.

He's a good guard that can shoot. CMA asked him to walk on but with his offers we knew that he wouldn't. Really wish CMA woulda offered him.
