We can only sign like 17-19 in this class so we have to be very selective.

Not to mention we actually have a coaching staff recruiting this year. I assume it'll be slightly more difficult for Merlin this year

I know this thread is mainly football but I am watching the Mississippi public school state championship game between Kemper county and Boonville... this is my first time to see Devonta Pollard play and all i can say is he is unbelievable!!

He handles the ball like a guard, blocks shots (has 7 blocks in first half) and can shoot from anywhere on the floor has (15 in first half)

Im watching. Pollard is one of the best shot blockers I have ever seen in HS.

7 in the first half that is crazy. and not to mention that every time he catches the ball he is double teamed or even triple teamed

Just curious what you guys are hearing on Pollard. State and Alabama still high on his list? Mizzou is making a late push, but we haven't gotten any vibes - good or bad. He does look like a special playa...

He has kept everything pretty quite and is just focused on winning the state championship tonight. But personally I think it is between MSU and Bama just because I think he will stay closer to home

But thats just my opinion

Well, that's kinda what I was thinking too. Good luck to State, but I hope he goes MU.
