Here's a link to the preseason Indoor T&F ranking.

Does KState have a new coach or something? I've never heard of them being good and they aren't in this top 25. Is there someone new building the program and that's why they have such a good class coming in?

Quiadam56, heard anything about the 2013 women track class? Who has committed?

I don't follow recruiting much, even in football. And I know nothing about track and field as far as who is good and who isn't.

I was just hoping your niece would stay in the SEC as we rack up championships like Lindsay Lohan racks up arrests.

Lol @ Quaidam
I believe they have brought in a high school coach from one of the top girls programs from Texas. He has the inside scope on alot of talent in Dallas area and Houston area.

Full Ride! Elite track teams rarely offer full rides. KSU only offered 50%. Smart move school paid for thats what matters.

I'm aware of that.

Unless her family is poor, she should have taken a 50% scholarship to attend a decent school.

Not poor, She did decided that she didn't want her parents coming out the pocket. I hear what your saying, but If she really wants to be good it's all on her at the end of the day.

@ Ocelot4ark I was hoping she picked Arkansas but I believe they offered lower than KSU. I believe she made the right decision at the end of the day.

If she got a full ride then more power to her. Boise is beautiful country. Congrats to your niece

I imagine they did. That's the downside to track. In order to be actually capable of winning a national title you have to have depth which means you can't really give out full rides.

Good choice by her if that was one of the things that was a big priority for her and her family.

Where do you hog fans get your recruiting rankings? I will admit that this is a mid-major sport I follow somewhat closely given LSU's tradition in the sport. Hopefully LSU steps up its game and upgrades its facilities. We still attract top talent, but our facilities do not compare to Arkansas, A&M, or Oregon.
