2013 Arkansas Women track and field recruiting

Sorry, I couldn't post on Arkansas forum due to me not being a member. MY niece is running at Arkansas this weekend than taking a official visit while in town. I really don't keep up with Arkansas because I'm a LSU fan. If anyone from Arkansas can give me any knowledge on the women track team or websites to look on it would be helpful. She has narrowed down to KSU and ARKANSAS. Thanks

Here's a link to the media guide. That should help you out with their history. Definitely not as storied as the mens program but Harter has put together a pretty solid program that is always at the top of of the SEC. He's had 19 conference titles in the SEC so she would be picking a winning program and our track facilities are ridiculous. If you're coming up with her then you will definitely be amazed.

I'm hoping Arkansas myself but ksu has the no.6 recruiting class in women's track so far. So if she does get accepted i need access to Arkansas bored. Torn tiger i swear lol

She should come to Arkansas for the facilities alone. World class.

Nice. Harter has had some great success with sprinters. Veronica Campbell-Brown is his crown jewel. 3 time gold medalist and multiple world championships. One of the top female sprinters in the world. I'm sure she'll hear all about her on visit.

Yeah i heard it was nice. But a&m is coming to visit her at her school soon, but she don't want to stay close to home also so they almost full n they may ask her to walk on. Not going to happen.

If she goes to Arkansas she can still compete against defending champ LSU and 3-time champ A&M.

Yeab other girls she been running against since 9th grade has picked a&m and lsu. I want her to be in the sec, but its her choice.

Its January and the middle of SEC football recruiting season.
