LSU fans are you surprised they took him over Shea Patterson? I would have thought Shea would end up at LSU.

Will LSU attempt to take 2 in this class ('16)
That wouldn't include Shea imo but maybe another 2nd-3rd tier QB

I'd bet we take 2 in 2016. To much qb talent in 16 compared to this year.

We're definitely taking 2 in 2016.

Although with the departure of Hayden Rettig we may now push very hard for a 2015 guy which we werent trying to hard to get one to begin with.

Patterson could easily come into the fold quickly...but he needs to come to LSU.

Shea isn't a Louisiana native and is still committed to Arizona if I'm not mistaken. I don't think you can assume he ends up at LSU. With that being said, LSU will take 2 QBs in the 2016 class.

Holy shite, are you really White Knighting this hard about this?

6'5", 205 is lanky, period. This is fricking lanky:

Doesn't mean shite about how good a player he is or isn't, just means he is a lanky kid and has a lot of room to fill out. It is actually a very good thing, usually means the kid isn't close to his ceiling yet.

Now, I'm pretty damn surprised about this commit, especially this early. It is out of nowhere. Be interesting to see if LSU can fend everyone else off.

6'5 205 is an AVERAGE size build for someone of that height

6'5 185ish would be lanky, 6'5, 205 is not

Yesterday was his 4th visit to LSU in 2 months. It was not out of no where. He likes Coach Cameron, and his ability to develop QB's.

2 visits to Baton Rouge in a month..both accompanied by his parents.

Cameron and Peveto were at his spring game Friday

This is the opposite of surprising

Its not out of nowhere genuis. He has been on LSUs campus 3 times in the last 2 months all on his own dime along with his parents.

We were actually expecting him to commit this weekend.

That is lanky. Like I said, not a knock on him. He's got a ton of room to fill out. But he's a lanky kid right now.

Well this thread has turned into pointless banter.

Serious question, why do LSU fans start a duplicate thread here when they already have a full board of their own dedicated to recruiting? Seems like a lot of these threads turnout much like this one did.

I noticed a Dillon thread got moved over here, when there already was one. Guess the admins don't keep the unnecessary clutter off this board.

LSU recruiting is SEC recruiting, there can be a thread on each board since generally non LSU posters on the LSU RB get ran off pretty quick. It makes sense.

I actually mentioned in that thread the mods screwed that up. No reason to move the thread from the LSU RB to over here when there was already one over here. Dillion was offered by us afterall so no reason we shouldn't have a thread on the LSU RB for it.
