- Isn't fat
- Doesn't slip in the rain
- Doesn't trivialize the death of a student athlete for a rule change because he can't coach players well enough to beat a strategy employed at all levels of football since the beginning of the game.
- Doesn't give Arkansas their worst conference record since 1942.

that's all nice fawx but now tell me what you would look for in a head football coach at A&M

and yes I understand your first 3 points could still apply but something tells me that's not really what you would look for in a head coach

He did not sustain success this year. In fact he took mediocrity and transformed it into a complete dumpster fire. Be gone troll

Discipline. A HC that runs it his way and only his way.

idiots, I'm surrounded by idiots.

what part of 'You're an athletic director, what do you look for in a football coach to hire?' don't you understand?

as an AD I would want to hire a coach that had shown he could sustain success as a head coach BEFORE I hired him, dammit.

I can agree with this to a certain extent.

I'd still want him to not be afraid to adapt, take input from others, and change

Well let's say you hire him because he has shown he can sustain success. Then in his first year the team is worse and went winless in the sec. One of the important traits you wanted in a coach was wrong. What do you do?

Beliema was a good hire for Arkansas, but not a good career choice of him to leave Wisconsin for Arkansas.

A guy that runs his own offense, is a genius. and doesn't have to rely on assistants so heavily because he's such a badass.

How would you know he had that ability before you hired him?

He has to patch up tFlagship before he can sail us to sustained success.

But that's not the point of this thread, I want to hear what you would look for in a head football coach if you were an AD. I gave you my list in the OP
