thread has nothing to do with Clemson

I think Clemson would be no lower than 3rd in SEC this year, have more balance on defense and offense than the teams below no. 3.

I don't see what is wrong with my standings. based on what I have seen so far. I think Arkansas can move up some.

does auburn really think they have a good team right now?

nah you just mad that have LSU ranked lower than you like.

all I said yesterday perteraning to LSU is Syracuse is a pretty tough place to win, which I was mocked for last week when I used it as part of my case Clemson has a tough schedule this year.

Exactly, so get the frick out of here. You are by far the most ignorant football fan I've ever seen here...and that is an outrageously bold statement.

both were close wins and Tenn win was kind of a fluke and almost still lost it with like 23 seconds on the clock after the big TD.

I don't think Florida has the offense to not pick up some losses.

your own coach said prior to the season they the team doesn't have many playmakers right now.

I would have Florida even lower if they were in the WEst because I think all of those teams are better right now. Arkansas has a solid RB.

as it stands right now, TN is probably going to finish 2nd in the East.

Clemson sucks. All flash, no trophies. You have to dig up stats to even get anyones attention regarding Clemson, and thats all that needs to be said. No one takes them seriously because they have never played well enough to be taken seriously.

I'm glad at the end of the season they make the rankings by Wins vs. Losses and not who has the better offense and things coaches say, or "almost losing a game with 23 seconds on the clock".

well you are wrong but don't need your validation. I think Clemson has been better than LSU the past few years.

this thread is about ranking the SEC teams which I did and I think it isn't an invalid ranking and I explained my logic.

only one I think that I may have ranked too low is Arkansas b/c they have a decent QB and RB.

I don't disagree with that, I haven't written FLorida off. But I think this year the teams with a pulse on offense have the advantage in SEC because not a lot of great offenses. my rankings reflect that.

Teen had control of that game and choked it partly because of the coach. they had control of the Oklahoma game. the FLorida game was on the road, and Tenn has had one of the tougher schedules to start the season.

SC beat UGA in two recent seasons that saw UGA go on to win the division. You can't have kneejerk rankings based on the last game.

By your own admission, LSU has two good road wins and you ranked them below one of the teams they beat on the road.

True, I think Dak is a solid QB and can get better. If LSU had a better QB i'd probably have them at no. 3. I still think a win at Auburn is a solid win given size of stadium. Auburn on paper at least has a lot more highly ranked players than the Cuse.

LSU needs a QB to move the chains and limit mistakes. If Harris was lighting it up, it would be stupid to not have them at the top by a wide margin. They are easily top 3 with how Harris has performed. But opinions are our own. We play most the teams at the top of that list.

most of the LSU type is based on beating Auburn though which I have ranked last and appear to be headed for a losing season unless a star emerges.

Miss State was a close win. Cuse hanged tough. I think my ranking is pretty fair.

If LSU wasn't committing stupid penalties, they'd look scary. They had a ton against MSU and Syracuse. Penalties that negated huge scoring plays as well. Some helped those plays occur but most had nothing to do with the success of the play.

Against Auburn, they played clean and looked dominant. They keep doing that and they'll win a ton of games. They commit 14 penalties against an SEC team like they did yesterday and they'll lose those games.
