Mizzou got throttled by Navy in something called the Texas bowl in 2009. The rush defense was a kin to this year's SECCG. Fugging brutal.

My father came up to visit my family in Atlanta for the holidays. He watched the game with me. I got hammered dogshyte and spent most of the time mocking our team and making snarky comments about how shytty we were playing. Went to sit on an ottoman that wasn't there and fell right at his feet.

That night I felt the shame and ridacule of a father who loves me and not one shyte was given... So fugg you Navy!!!

21-0 obviously, but toward the end of the game, I was actually laughing (maniacally most likely). The loss against clemson last year was just

But in that 20 year span, how many bowl games has Ole Miss played in?

Losing to a coach less Pitt team in the Compass Bowl in 2010. QB Mike Hartline got arrested and kicked off the team before the bowl, leaving Morgan "Herp Derp" Newton to start.

Should've fired Joker's arse then.

96 PSU was terrible, but 2001 UNC is underrated in terms of horrible games.

Auburn stats:

Auburn
First downs 12
Rushed-yards 32-31
Passing yards 145
Sacked-yards lost 3-34
Return yards 26
Passes 18-28-2
Punts 9-49.3
Fumbles-lost 5-1
Penalties-yards 4-26
Time of possession 27:58

Georgia has 2 that are close. The first half vs West Virginia was the most frustrating thing I have ever witnessed. Losing that game hurt. UCF also was bad but that was a bad season anyway. I rank the WVU loss higher.

Easy there chief, you have finished 3rd and 4th in the division with arguably the best QB in program history.

I'm pretty sure this is a bowl thread, not an Western conference thread.

Ha! I was at that Las Vegas bowl. I had just moved to town, maybe 2000? UNLV had a qb named Jason Thomas? They have been absolutely horrid since that season

This.

And when I saw who our opponent would be in the SECCG it was the first thing I thought of. I figured we might be in for a repeat and we were.

Norte Dame had some great teams back then and I went to both of those games. I'd say getting pummeled by Tennessee has to rank up there as terrible Cotton Bowl showings

Our last 2 bowl game losses were both bad... In the early 2000s we played West Virginia in the Music City Bowl... Their QB didn't throw an incompletion til the 3rd quarter... Game was no where near as close as the final score.... In the early 90s we played a Desmond Howard led Michigan team in the Gator Bowl... They stomped us 35-3 ... That was one of several Michigan teams that would've played for a Natty had they not lost to OSU.
