SC has plenty of guys who are trying to crack the lineup. I think our QB battle is going to be the most interesting one. After that, I would say the DT battle (we actually have some depth there and 5-6 guys with a shot at starting.)

What is your team's position battle that the PreSeason Camp will determine?

For SC, we have a 3 way QB race b/w:
Returning starting QB Perry Orth - was a walk-on, earned a scholarship, 4th year player, played pretty bad last year, but at least he has experience. The team rallies behind him, they like him in interviews and social media.

and

True Fr Brandon McIwain - Elite 11 QB, US Army All American, Under Armor and Louisville Slugger All American (baseball.) Dual threat guy, early enrollee, dominated the spring game (with restrictions on the defense.) Fan favorite right now to be 'The Guy' moving forward.

and

True Fr Jake Bentley - Top rated QB to come to SC, Pro Style but can run, bigger frame than the other QB's. Didn't get to campus until May so missed spring camp. Son of one of the greatest HS HC's in SC History, his dad is a coach at SC now. Probably the best passer out of the 3, but not as mobile as McIlwain.

VOLS have a 3 way battle for the two tackle spots between Jr. Brett Kendrick, So. Chance Hall and RS Fr. Drew Richmond.

Not much going on other than that.

The oline battles at LSU will be interesting. The interior of the oline returns from last year(Pocic, Clapp and Teuhema). Both tackle spots are open.

LT- Maea Teuhema played here during the spring but could also play guard. Ethan Pocic could also play here or at center
LG - could be Teuhema, Clapp or another lineman.
C - Pocic started here last season, Clapp could play here also
RG - Clapp started here last season. Josh Boute was named by Les as a starter if he has a good fall.
RT - Toby Weathersby seems to be the guy but KJ Malone is also in the mix.

LSU has a lot of lineman that can play multiple positions. It will be interesting to see how things shake out

2nd TE Spot with Will Gragg, CJ O'Grady and Austin Cantrell (who is mostly an H-Back). My guess is Gragg

RB
Most think Williams (injured for year against Auburn) and Kody Walker end up with the bulk of carries initially...Whaley has to fit in somewhere and I think he could end up being primary back. We also have another slasher type kid in 4* TJ Hammonds...going to be interesting

Ole Miss has a few battle

LT
It is more can Little handle it or will they have to move someone like Rod Taylor or Rawlings.

Rover Safety
Hartsfeild Tr Fr EE (named starter after spring)
CJ Moore RS Jr
Deontay Anderson Tr Fr (not here for spring will make a run at starter)

Free Safety
Zedrick Woods Soph played some at our 2 other safety spots last year will challenge for PT if not starter
CJ Hampton was back up FS last year with a few starts. Should be the guy but needs to step up if not Woods will blow by him

RG
Jordan Sims RS Soph was the starter at the end of the year. Hard worker that keeps improving
Rod Taylor Jr started some as a true fresh and was the starting LG before he was injured before the season. Played some as a back up OG but could not get past the torn labrum to be a big time contributor.

Slot WR
Van Jefferson Tr Fr EE (named starter) son of Dolphins WR coach said to be best route runner on the team
Mark Pack Jr was the #2 slot player last year Rec 31 Yards 380 TD 3

We have a lot of young WRs. I'm interested to see what the starting group looks like.

Hall/Kendrick/Richmond is the main one as you said.

D-tackle is one as well imo. I don't think we know for sure who the two starters will be there either between O'Brien, McKenzie, Vickers and possibly even Kongbo.

Moseley/Martin could be the other one at corner opposite Sutton.

Gay doggystyle vs gay missionary. It'll be a tight one coming down the stretch.

Definitely across the OL, the 3/4 WR, and possibly across the DL

Watch out for Herron to make some noise.

3rd WR
-Chark
-Johnson
-Ferguson
-Anderson
-Davis

4th Corner (spot somewhere in dime)
- Smith
- Fulton
- Thomas
- Paris
- greedy
- Monroe/battle if we go 3 safeties

Open Guard spot:
- Boutte
- brumfield
- Campbell
- Malone

^ hoping okeke puts it all together and Teuhema can play OG.

OLB rotation should be a battle too behind key and probably bower.
Interested to see where the young guys like Thornton and Anthony fit in compared to older guys like Clark and Patterson

Finally some threads with actual football discussion. Cheers brother. Our starting lineup is pretty much set outside of a fifth DB, starting Quarterback (we are all worried about it), RG and our great white hope who transferred in is looking to shake things up at WR.

The former qb? He's still around, and on the o line?

I thought the Aggies would be choosing between reverse cowboy and dead doggystyle.

I think the most important battle will be at QB for the hogs. If AA falls flat we have to have someone ready to go and take the starting spot. Not every QB works out. We have plenty with hype and talent but no one has stood out. The Cole Kelly kid cound be the next one to start out of the bunch we have on the hill.

Not as much as we are and we know who our starting QB is!

Don't know if Harris will improve enough in the passing game to get it done against the Big Boy's and don't know if and/or when Miles will pull the plug to give the back-up a shot if he can't..........

For Auburn
the 2nd CB spot is between two RS freshmen. Jamaal Dean is big and reslly talented, and Javaris Davis is supposedly the fastest guy on the team. We also have a grad transfer, but I think these two will have more talent

Strong side DE:
Marlon Davidson-true fr ended spring with the 1s and looks great. He will battle Juco JR. Paul James and Soph Byron Cowart for the starting role, but all 3 will rotate a ton.

On offense, we have to figure out QB, and probably the WR spots, but they don't mean jack if we are arm punting half the time again this year

Yes. On the line where we told him from the beginning that he'd end up.

And I don't see him ever lining up in the LT position the entire season unless injury kills us. We need to rotate him into the guard position. He's quick as hell and would make for a great pulling guard. Also fits nicely into a heavy tight end formation

For anyone that questions why LSU fans were anxious to fire miles, this is a pretty good example.

Sign Jeremy Liggins in 2012, a guy with clear academic and eligibility issues, and don't sign a second QB.

that about sums it up. LSU's only 2012 QB signee is now fighting for an OL spot at ole miss.
