Or, if it doesn't in football.

Hey, I love Kentucky football. I love Kentucky basketball as well. Football is played on Saturdays and Basketball is played mostly during the week. It's possible to love and watch every game of both.

Actually, most of the country does. Just not the "south". Glad I don't live in the "south", technically.

I don't get the either/or thing with football and basketball either, I wish college basketball was starting tonight. Granted, part of that is no Mark Gottfried.

Pg-Mikhail Torrance
sg-Senario Hillman
sf-Tony Mitchell
pf-Jamychal Green
c-Justin Knox

I'm a fan of all of our guys but can't say I really love Senario Hillman's game but he'll most likely start for defensive purposes over Anthony Brock who will play a lot. I have no idea if Tony Mitchell actually will start but he's a top 50 recruit and he could step in for Alonzo Gee.

Holy crap, he's still around?

He's one of those guys that seem like they're in college forever, if you know what I'm talking about.

Watching the Blue-White game, and this team is going to be good. They are making some mistakes, but they have only been practicing for 11 days, so it's to be expected. This team is going to be special though.

dunno our five except tay waller is gonna be a beast

He's not afraid to shoot the ball

Brendon Knox 6'10" 240
Tay Waller 6'2"
Hargrove 6'6" 220
DeWayne Reed 6'1" 175
Frankie Sullivan 6'1" 195

Also Jonnie Lett 6'8" 210

We are gonna shoot lots of 3s

Losing Kovortney Barber will hurt us

I think AU finally has some depth now and some experience, but those kids are small

I say we will be lucky to go 8-8 in the SEC

Wall is NBA ready...PERIOD

Cousins has nice skills

Hood is very UNDERRATED PLAYER and will suprise alot of people

Miller needs to be more aggressive

Harrelson fits nicely in the system...will be a nice player off the bench

Bledsoe is just as good as Wall...in 2 years he will dominate

Patterson...watch out...he is hitting from the floor...drives nicely to the basket...has nice dribble skills

Orton is a project and raw

Liggins is going to warm the bench

Dodson going to be a nice role player

Damn, we are so deep, it is scary

over 14,000 for a scrimmage

I've been impressed with Harris' three pointers. I don't recall him making many last year, but he's had three in this game.

Agree with your assessment, Wildcat Mike.

Cool to see Cal bring Joe B. down to sit on the bench.

Make that four threes for Harris.

I'll also add that Krebs is looking good for someone who was a walk on last year.

OSU's starting lineup in the final game against Siena last year was:

PG: PJ Hill

SG/PG/SF/coach/equipment manager/athletic trainer/superman: Evan Turner

F/C: Dallas Lauderdale

SG: Jon Diebler (he's the Ohio High School All-time scoring leader, which is similar to Herman Johnson's size as a baby and McCoy and Shipley are roomates at UT).

SG: William Buford

As, you can see, we're not a very big team.

All these guys are back. The only guy that left was BJ Mullens. No one graduated.

David Lighty, who was arguably our best player heading into last year, got hurt early in the year and took a medical redshirt. He'll be a starter. Lauderdale's missing the 1st month of this year with injury. He'll probably be replaced by UAB transfer Zisis Sarikopoulos at center. If/when he gets back, he'll probably move back into the lineup.

Opening game lineup, if I had to guess, without looking at any Buckeye previews for this year:

PG: Evan Turner-Junior

SG: Jon Diebler-Junior

SG: William Buford-Soph

SF: David Lighty-Junior

C: Zisis Sarikopoulos-Soph

PG PJ Hill (senior), PG Jeremie Simmons (senior), SG Walter Offutt (soph), and C Kyle Madsen (senior) contributing off the bench.

Sorry for the long post. I'm pretty pumped about Buckeye basketball this year.

Don't really get what's funny. We'll be good. NC contenders, no, but we can win the Big 10 and make a Sweet 16 or Elite Eight run.

I really wanted Bledsoe to stay at home and play for us. I know Grant was on him hard late but he had to play catch up cause Bledsoe really wasn't even considering us pre-Grant. Oh well. We picked up a four star PG and we'll need him next year unless this Ben Eblen kid we got (after Bledsoe committed) was underrated.
