I know about Cord. I'm talking about 2 this year.

I hope Cord does well. I'm not sure how he'll turn out but I'm rooting for him. Seems like a good kid. Kind of sucks he had to go so far from home but I'm glad he found a spot somewhere.

Our backup is Dak Prescott a RS FR who is 6'3" 235lbs very similar to Relf but a better passer. He turned down a late LSU offer to become a bulldog, Dan said yesterday that Dak will play early this season.

After him, we have 2 HS FR walk-ones. One of which, Jamil Golden is a 6'4" 190lb kid who turned down some D1 offers from Ark St, Memphis, Middle Tenn to walk on and play in the SEC. He also had verbal offers from Arkansas and Vandy.

I think Alabama would be in some trouble if AJ went down.

I don't think so, their defense and running game is still talented enough to compensate for the lack of a solid QB.

Yeah, I agree. LSU and UA losing their QB still wins 10 games at least. Chances for ATL/BCS might be hurt but the clubs still win a lot of games.

I was there for the Bama game last year and saw the Gators go through pretty much the entire depth chart at QB. At least this year your guys won't have the "deer in the headlights" look.
Sometimes a year's maturity makes a huge difference.

I think Pease will help the QBs a ton. Charlie just put a ton on them.

I still think LSU would be fine if Bolden indeed joined them from Penn State. Bolden could not be any worse than Jefferson and LSU was a dominant team with Jefferson. They can play good defense and pound the crap out of most teams.

think Auburn will be ok. If Mocha Cam goes down, we still have Crying/ White Cam.

that's the situation discussed on 740 Sports Radio this morning that inspired me to come up with the awesome OP. Longshore and McKnight were saying they heard White Cam injured himself stretching at practice recently.

After I LOL'd I started wondering how bad any of the SEC would be nailed if the starter went down.

Bama's situation is summed up by recycling an old Dubose quote "We're not deep from a depth standpoint."

Yeah Moseley had offseason shoulder surgery and I don't think he's 100% yet. Suppossed to be taking it easy in fall practice to make sure he completely heals. Have not heard about the stretching injury. You heard that this morning?

it appears any West team is phuqued if the starter goes down.

We could line up Stephen Hawking under Center & average 24 points per game in the SEC, bro.

Or did you not watch us rack up 24 wins, a Division & conference championship, a beatdown of A&M in Jerryworld & a spot in the Natty the last two years?

Yep. I was driving and chatting on the phone some too so it's possible Longshore could have been exaggerating. JL being JL.

I actually tend to agree here. With all the turmoil of the past few months, the one thing I've been counting on is Wilson's experience and leadership. Without that, we could go from 9-3 or 10-2 to 7-5, fairly easily IMO.

No question we've got talent behind him, but I don't know that that would be enough on the road at A&M, Auburn, or USC.

At this point I don't see Bray going down being as crippling as it was last year. Everything you hear is that the two young guys have looked very good behind him.
