Story of his life
I want the guy to succeed, but from what I have seen he doesn't need to be on the field. Can you remember even one play he has made of significance that was positive for LSU?

I honestly think people are trying to lump the Arkansas game with the rest of his career, which is not fair(heard he was hurt in the game). But I do not think he should be starting at safety, we have better safety's that saw less playing time last year. Karnell Hatcher's strong point is tackling, which is why I think they are moving him down to SAM.

The dropped passes at the end of the Auburn game. A catch or two there at the end could have created an altogether different outcome.

Poor clock management/play calling at the end of regulation of the Arkansas game. Game should not have even gone to overtime but losing in overtime was pretty painful, too.

There was a slight open area to throw the ball and Mallett zipped it in there

At the very worst it should have been a 20 yard gainer. Hatcher is king of bad angles. I think one of our true freshman would have played that ball much better

To stay on topic, probably Mallett's collection of interceptions this year that, in my mind, cost us 2 games.

12-1 would have been a lot better than 10-3

Bama game - If Knile would have been our go-to guy then, would have made a difference...

Auburn - Even with the fricked up calls, we were leading this game in the 4th quarter and eventually gave it a way with turnovers to make the game look like it was a total blowout

OSU - Yet another game where we had missed opportunites and should have won. Should have sealed the deal with a punt block fumble return...Hell should have sealed it with where we had the ball...

tOSU loss was the only game where we never lead in the 4th qtr. this past year.

Hatcher's play at the half is the one that will stick with me for the next 6 months. Easily a game LSU should've won even with a terrible Offense. LSU beat itself, I give Ark little credit for that game.

The other long TD was Hatcher taking his typical bad angle. If I'm a Hog fan I'm hoping LSU has injury problems coming into that game. Otherwise it's over.

The only other one I can think of is PP7 getting carried into the end zone by Cam Newton on that ridiculous long run. But that doesn't bother me as much because they went on to win it all, and the Heisman, and it was an away game.

But Ark had to go on and blow it in the sugar bowl, shouldve been LSU. We know how to beat crappy teams in the big ten.

your defensive line disagrees...they were getting manhandled in the 4th...but I digress

The "O" not being able to do anything in the 2nd half vs Auburn. IMO if LSU could have just moved the ball they may have been able to pull it out

Put us on a half decent field and that game isn't close.

If you don't think Hatcher cost LSU that game, then you must not have been watching it. Two TD's of 85 and 80 yards were the result of Hatcher being Hatcher

I'm pretty sure that T-rex and your D-line were abused a few times as well.

Of course you don't. It's crazy how such superior teams get beat lke a rented mule sometimes but hey, Hatcher is gonna be unreal at LB.
