When LSU failed to score on it's last drive vs. Auburn. I knew LSU's national title hopes were over in 2010 because I knew Auburn was going to run the table.

Props to Auburn. One of the more dominant offenses I have ever seen. IMO yall didnt play yall's best game against Oregon. If yall would have even brought yall's B game, yall would have beaten them by 28 points.

I bet that DID suck, man... yikes.

Mine too Memphis. The game really swung on that bone-headed play. Hatcher single-handedly gave the Hogs all the help they needed that day. Saved the Luckeyes from taking another BCS beating in New Orleans.

I'm not even responding to this. I quoted it to respond. But I changed my mind.

Hatcher laying out Claiborne

I left the mountain early and arrived back at the lodge just in time to watch this epic frick up that day. It was the most disappointed I was since the 07 Arkansas game.

I have no idea how you can think Hatcher is going to be sick anywhere on the field. The guy is a liability to have out there, and that is putting it rather nicely.

If you don't think Hatcher cost LSU that game, then you must not have been watching it. Two TD's of 85 and 80 yards were the result of Hatcher being Hatcher

Ok he dude had easily the worst game of his career that day. Heard he was playing injured. Why was he playing injured when we have a ton of depth at safety, I dont know? But if you look closely, he is going to make a good SAM LB. His coverage skills for a linebacker will be way above average.

What about that young heralded DB LSU fans pimp all the time that got torched by Joe Adams?

What happens when he has to cover teams with fast TE's or pick up a RB out of the backfield on passing routes?

If he is as bad as you guys say, he will likely be a liability any place he is on the field.

That was an excellent play call. DB's get beat sometimes, even the best in the world. Hatcher gets beat constantly, and never makes big plays, never.

I can half way give you the pass before the half. Watching the replay, it was great coverage. Hamilton took a step back which caused your two players to collide.

On the other hand, the first Hamilton TD was a beautiful pass and catch IMO. I do not think any other player would have stopped that one from happening.

Again, just my opinion.

If you would've watched any LSU game besides the only one you watched (LSU vs. Arkansas) then you would understand the hype. The kid is a ballhawk. WIth that said, Petrino made a hell of a play call on 4th down and yall executed it perfectly. TM14 got beat on the play but he is young and it happens.

I knew the refs were in nicks pocket then...

I find this to be nothing short of gut splitting humor. The entire second half, every, single, time, Auburn ran around the end, our linebackers were held inside and wasnt called once.

Didnt anyone think it was odd that in the first half, every time they ran around the end, we had at least 1 guy able to beat them to the corner and contain, yet in the second half they didnt lose yardage on a single outside run?

But yeah, the refs were in Nick's pocket.

That call on Nick Fairly was decided before the game started. They were tired of Fairly's dirty play and they wanted to get the message across early that it would NOT be tolerated anymore. So the first chance they had, they flagged him. It seemed to work, I saw him helping our guys up off the ground after that call was made.

But yeah, in Nick's pocket for sure.

You may need to go watch that again. That pass should have most definitely been broken up, but Hatcher managed to frick that up as usual.

He took the worst angle in the history of angles.

Story of his life
I want the guy to succeed, but from what I have seen he doesn't need to be on the field. Can you remember even one play he has made of significance that was positive for LSU?

I think you need to watch again.

There was a slight open area to throw the ball and Mallett zipped it in there. Same play that beat UGA.
