You could have shortened this title by just typing "Yankee SEC schools"

And this from a non-charter SEC school who has no heritage in the SEC.

This! And from a state that has sop many Yankees moving in from California and other places that it is probably more distinct from the South than any other SEC state. Spent some time in El Paso a few years back...didn't resemble the South at all

No problem. All we have to do is call one of the knuckle-draggers from the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Department and he'll come out and blow it away for us. No questions asked.

Your judgment is skewed because you are here for only a brief moment. Better to put up with a little cold than that God-forsaken swamp land where there are no mountains or waterfalls. Tennessee has over 400 waterfalls and lots of rolling to mountainous terrain. Louisiana's population is not growing much. That should tell you something.

Buy pants. Buy a longsleeve shirt. Buy a jacket.

It requires all of the above.

yes sir.

I don't think I could live north of Fayetteville. i hate winter so much. So I kinda feel your pain.

Its nice to have a little bit of snow sometimes, and a fire going at Christmas. Makes me feel like I'm doing it right.

I'd rather live in the Mountains in East TN than anywhere in LA.

Different strokes for different folks

I like Louisiana people. I'd be skeered to jump in their rivers or lakes, though. I prefer clear water without gators. And I do like some topography and views.

Look at it this way. This cold weather keeps the gators away and the snakes down. No gators, and fewer snakes up this way. Fewer bugs, too.
