No other conference has more than 1 team in the Elite Eight. The SEC East (yeah I know we don't do divisions in basketball, but still) has 3.

Skal Labissiere. Ruined by Cal

So one guy? And one that Cal didn't have any issue admitting he shouldn't have tried to force him to post up and the kid starting playing well when he adjusted. And is doing just fine in the NBA.

Your data is shite.

Great talent hindered by Cal. Alex Poythress. fricked by Cal. Again, players develop by experience and good coaching. They get that by playing 70+ games in an NBA season

If youl're good enough to play in the NBA, go for it

Which Cal has given. To multiple players. And I specifically named guys that performed well beyond their expectations and you still haven't addressed those either.

Color me not shocked though. And Alex Poythress tore his ACL and struggled with rehab from it, dumbass. We blaming Cal for knee injuries too? Next you're going to tell me he Nancy Kerrigan'd Derrick Rose.

Tyler Ulis wasn't remotely as good coming in. He wasn't even Cal's first choice at PG in recruiting.

Did you not watch the game tonight?

UCLA plays a trapping defense that Cal had his guys exceedingly prepared for. They had a stretch of like 23 minutes without a turnover.

You can complain about the greasy aura around Cal's past. Don't pretend he's not a good coach and developer of talent. It's ridiculous.

Tyler Ulis was a five star who is part of the Phoenix Suns rebuild.

Just heard that. The SEC has played well in the Tourney. That's a beautiful thing.

I consider a "develpor of talent" to be one that takes players who may not make it to the pros and "develops" them to that end. Moses Kingsley at Arkansas is a great example. He was never considered an NBA player until shortly before this year. Now, his rim protection will get him drafted in the second round. He "developed" into an NBA player.

That's very cool. And so I don't seem hypocritical I'll lay it all out- I'm not a huge fan of his pretty much 100% because I hate the whole one and done mentality/thing/way/aspect. I just do. I'm old and get off my lawn.

But as I established at first, that was cool and Kentucky is virtually perpetually usually always good to great.

Congrats to the cats. And gators and Cocks too.

Johnny Calipari's wins don't count for the conference. They count for Kentucky.

You actually have a point from how the conference is viewed nationally even if you weren't going that direction

Sometimes feels like if UK chose a weak OOC , the media would compare their SOS to Gonzaga or Wichita or some bullshite

Did you just see that. After UK win starts talking about USCe and ask did Florida win? Oh don't put 3 teams in from the SEC, not the SEC. Nice to see him taking up for the conference

He also said at the end that he hopes UF wins too. Calipari just became one of my favorite coaches. I've always respected what he's done through the years but his pride of the conference just sold me. I'm on the bandwagon now. Loved that interview.

Moses Kingsley was a 4* recruit. You're arguing that a player subjectively ranked like 25-30 spots higher isn't developed, but a 60th ranked player is?

With 3 teams making it into the Elite 8 and the 2 that lost in close competitive games.

It makes us look even better overall.

Also, Kentucky's success, in the Tourney especially does wonders for the conference.

Credits= $$$

Enjoy the class champ.

It would not be looked on that way. The SEC was a five bid league. It was not the MVC where a team got left out at 27-6. Five. Five.
