I think Canada will be solid as well. I don't think he's a game changer, but based on what I've seen from him at different places I think he'll use LSU's pieces well. I doubt LSU will have many games where they just don't show up on offense for 3 quarters anymore (against mediocre teams, especially). And that's a massive improvement.

Its hard to imagine Canada not being an improvement over what LSU has had, and you have to be trolling to say its not at least a solid hire. But as far as what really matters to any SEC team (which is beating Alabama), he can be the greatest Offensive Coordinator out there, but if LSU's O-Line gets decimated by Alabama's front 7 like it has the last two years, it's not going to matter.

DJ I don't know you but I feel like you're the most level headed LSU fan I've ever seen on here. Nice to meet you.

There are a couple of us on here. Unfortunately, on the internet, everyone has a voice and there is no way to check them...

o he's coached one team that lost 3 games, all of his other teams have lost 5 or more.

I don't think Canada is the greatest OC in the world and know he'll have to prove himself.

That being said, there's a coach at Bama from Amite(I'll let you figure this one out)who told me directly after LSU hired Canada, that he was Saban's top priority at one point(recent).

Bama's offense is a Ferrari. Anyone can drive a Ferrari, but only a few can drive it right.

I have no worries that Saban will find the right driver.

Don't worry we believe you. Most LSU fans have inside information on Saban.

Yeah there is absolutley no chance Saban would ever be interested in any coach that LSU is interested in.
