Great thread, OP. My sentiments exactly.
7 years at LSU and multiple head to head classics against Nick Saban, and I STILL can't figure out how good he is. Right when I think he's a clown or a genius, he does something to prove the opposite.

LSU fans will miss Saban and Bama fans will miss Miles.
That's very hard to fathom now, but will be evident later, when lesser men prowl the sidelines.
It's the crazy high level of competition.

Oh Lord, Miles is talking about NCAA rules and giving examples of how he recruits. I get the feeling he is about to unknowingly admit a major violation.

He answered it head on.
There is a REPEATED scheduling advantage/disadvantage. Over time.
We are maybe the only team that can play that schedule again and again and WIN.
