Last year's numbers will be difficult to replicate, but he'll be more than solid.

TeLa is so full of shite it's not even funny. As far as running, Alabama's line will almost never be surpassed at least by any future conventional offense. Maybe an option line. But A&M was better pass protection. But saying the line as a whole was better is absolute homerism. Alabama lost the matchup head to head, but that doesn't mean the line was any less of what it was. Ennis ate a halfway injured Barrett Jones alive for that very reason. Even then A&M almost lost. If you're gonna brag, get your facts straight. A&Ms line was about 80% of Alabama's line as a whole at best.

Barrett Jones lost a round and a half of draft stock because he got beat repeatedly by a walk-on Aggie nose tackle. fact.

Mark Snyder put Spencer Nealy on Barrett Jones because Nealy was much faster than Fat Barrett.

If you're going to whine and make excuses, at least use the right personnel.

Manziel could be a very good QB again and it still be a slump, considering his freshman year and all the buzz around him.

Clearly that's why A&M has 10 preseason all-SEC team members.

Mike Evans - what a shitty receiver
Ben Malena - what a shitty running back
Damontre Moore - shittiest all-american in history
Deshazor Everett - what a shitty cornerback
Steven Jenkins - what a shitty linebacker
Sean Porter - WTF was Cincinnati thinking drafting such a shitty player?
Christine Michael - Why did Seattle waste a 2nd round pick on the shittiest of running backs?

the list goes on

Wrong. Bamas line was about 75% of A&M's line as a whole at best. Two can play this game.

I kinda wanna say Cooper because of all the talent around him we can throw to as well, but he put on like 15 pounds and still got faster, so it's hard to argue against him.
if it is a "largest gain differential", then probably Cooper.

He started off 3rd string. He has moves though. He could reproduce, but we do have other talent. Coop isnt satisfied though.

Outside of Cyrus Kouandjio and Anthony Steen, Alabama's offensive line is a question mark. They'll have 3 new starters and it won't just be an easy fix. I don't expect them to be terrible by any means, but it's impossible to tell how good or bad they'll be in 2013. This could, and probably will, impact TJ Yeldon, AJ McCarron, and Amare Cooper.

We go through this every damn year. I've been waiting since 2008 for that significant drop off.

this makes absolutely zero sense, and may actually be the dumbest thing I've read on this board

fify

#1 I assume the argument is that JFF only had the yards he did because, somehow, the rest of the offense couldn't get them? Ridiculous. He wasn't passing to himself. Evans and Swope were the most productive WR duo in the conference. Evans manhandled DBs, and everyone underestimated Swope's speed until he burned a 4.34 40 at the NFL combine.

#2 But maybe Johnny had all those rushing yards because the RBs sucked? Equally ridiculous. The top 3 RBs collectively averaged 5.5 yards per carry, and scored 25 TDs. Only Alabama and Georgia backs were better. The least productive member of A&M's rotation, Christine Michael, was drafted immediately after Eddie Lacy.

but most importantly:

#3 Anyone who watched JFF play and couldn't tell he was special just flat out knows nothing about football. Or is so hopelessly biased that the end result is effectively the same.
