As an LSU fan, I like that Mizzou, by location alone, puts those against division realignment on their heels.

I think most LSU fans, while enjoying the usually competitive game, hate that Florida is our permanent Eastern opponent, as we get a typically tough annual game while Ole Miss gets Vandy, State gets Kentucky and Arkansas gets Mizzou; opponents which are typically less well regarded than Florida. This competitive imbalance is a result of the SEC wanting to keep two cross divisional rivalries: Alabama/Tennessee and Auburn/Georgia.

With the admittance of Mizzou and A&M the SEC could move Alabama and Auburn to the East and Mizzou and Vandy to the West. This would preserve the two traditional rivalries that the SEC sought to preserve when creating the permanent cross-divisional opponents, actually align geographically AND allow TWO opposite divisional teams to rotate through each season- so SEC teams would play each other more frequently and with that schedules would be more likely to even out over time.

The big four, who demand to play each other each year hate this, as they (rightly) say it would create a competitive imbalance. So, from an LSU perspective, the old guard gets what the old guard wants, despite the equal arguments of competitive imbalance.

I know right? Who would actually want to win their division?

South Carolina, Mizzou and Arkansas have all passed Ole Miss by....I get the frustration.

At least our football team has never held the university's checkbook hostage by refusing to take the field if their demands weren't met

It's kinda nice having two basketball games a year where the opposing school thinks it has a chance. We beat any sense of hope or optimism out of the rest of you years agom

You can have the money. We have plenty, and we hear your enlightened northern students aren't exactly rolling in in record numbers to Old Mizzou this year, which may cause some budget shortfalls

I wonder what happened to cause a precipitous decline in enrollment interest? Kilo says it's so great though. Probably nothing important.

Gotta respect that A&M's weird fans are enthusiastic cheering their team on. My favorite thing Mizzu did was their first year--after one of Bama's players took a real cheap shot on one of their players, their O linemen went out of their way to plant the gump the next two plays. Coaches had to pull him out of the game to keep him from getting killed.

So that's what you're going with? Weak. You are a fricking idiot if you think that means a damn thing

University of Missouri estimates show enrollment decline to cost campus $36 million

See in the South, things are growing. Our cities are becoming more prosperous and populations are increasing.

This isn't some rust belt shite hole that is hemorrhaging population and money. Why not post populations of cities in 1850. That's the kind of shite the rust belt has to live on. The past, because your best days are behind you

You might want to get a better rebuttal because you are going to see this on the board for awhile. It should be easy for a full of shite poster like you
