Funny since your last 2 titles (and likely when you play again this year) will be in New Orleans...

I'm not denying that at all. It just seems that to even get there we have to beat you in Atlanta first.

I still have no idea how Tennessee made the SEC championship in 2007.

Personally, I think y'all have a puncher's chance. Your D matches up much better against LSU's offense than Boise's. As long as RR doesnt bust big plays on you deep, they shouldn't pile up points.

On offense, the key is Bobo. Teams have shown they can run effectively on LSU. (Not dominate, but good enough to stay out of 3rd/long consistently). If he lets your OL just go hat on hat and keep running the ball, y'all have a shot. Claiborne is the best player on the field and is absolutely going to take away your best WR. But, I think the Honey Hamster has been exposed as fairly average in coverage. It will be interesting to see the matchup of the UGa secondary WRs against him - maybe a big body like Decker. And your TE against their LBs underneath is a good matchup for UGa.

Still, LSU by 7, I think. But y'all have a shot.

They got lucky as frick that Kentucky couldn't man up when they needed to.

That and the fact that we lost to 2 teams we shouldn't have, so yes I realize my above statement is stupid. Oh well. I think the entire country would've tuned in to see UGA vs LSU the way both teams were playing in December.

Another humble Tiger fan. These guys win with dignity & class.

Don't lecture me on humility. I travel to Bryant Denny and Athens everytime LSU plays at those sites.

The typical attitude at UGA is "Why did you show up? How dare you? Your team is not even worthy of stepping on the same field with the Dawgs!

And at Bama: "Hey Corndog! Isn't this the best campus, team, college, gameday environment, coach you've ever seen? Don't you feel honored to be here at Bama? Don't you love our traditions? And even though Les has schooled Saban the last 2 years, SABAN >>>>>>>>> MILES and made LSU."

It's actually the opposite, LSU MADE SABAN, and Bama is damn lucky he got wonderlust for the NFL.

I'm just giving the Dawgs on this board a reality check. You'll get yours, Bammer, in NO, if Okie State trips.

Pass defense is definitely our weak link on D. I'm not worried about them running on us.

Potentially, but one thing we have that bama absolutely doesn't is a pretty potent passing game. Murray is really clicking right now, and we have about 3 receivers who are all pretty legit, and 2 more that are pretty solid in their own right. Not to mention Orson Charles.

Who are you tailgating with? Did you make this up? No Georgia fan would say that about a team like LSU.

I agree. But if Bobo has y'all throwing 40+ times against this LSU team, you're doomed. Claiborne & Simon are lethal. And y'all are too big up front and too solid at RB not to keep pounding away. And, yep, I think Charles is a weapon for UGa underneath.

Yeah I don't think we're dumb enough to throw it 40 times. Like you said we have good enough a running game to where we should try to at least make some headway there first. But we definitely won't be scared to throw it either.

I am absolutey, in no way saying this sarcastically because I genuinely don't know the answer, but has LSU faced a passing game like Georgia's this year? I know WV torched them, but I would imagine Murray is as good as their QB, and Mitchell, King, and Bennett have all really come on strong down the stretch.

According to Bama fans before Nov. 5th, their passing game would be the best we've seen all year.

What will yall actually need to see from UGA against LSU to say "hmmm, maybe they are actually good?"

The fact that you have to ask this is the heart of what the problem is.

But looking realistically AJ has shown to be a fairly average to good QB and they have 1 main WR target. I think we'll present a lot more of a challenge for LSU's pass defense than bama did.

The answer is simple. You keep asking what people need to see. People keep telling you to beat someone with a pulse. You keep saying isn't it possible you improved. People keep saying it is possible but how do we know since your schedule got soft on you. You keep saying that you could beat Boise or SCAR now. People keep telling you that those games were already played. You keep telling people that the next time will be different. People keep telling you that that is what is called the gambler's fallacy.

The bottomline is to get respect, you beat a decent team. So far your best wins are against a 6-4 team and a 5-5 team.

Well Georgia will undoubtedly be in it, and LSU is better than Arkansas, although they can be pretty pesky. I'd say there's a preeeeeetty good chance it happens.
