1. Hicks case. We are still waiting on the response
That's no 10 of a story unless Yahoo uncovered something hidden from the NCAA.

2. Lyles and Peterson ... Who knows who is telling the truth there.
That is a possibility, I suppose. With the way Lyles has been talking,I would think the story was related to him. ON the other hand, he has been talking to media other than Yahoo, so they might not be comfortable sitting on a story if he is the source.

I don't think you get much bigger than a coach supplying extra benefits or a player consulting a street agent.

oh shite...please please let it be Auburn or Bama and not us.

Robinson has investigated nearly every team in the SEC there is no telling who it is on. He's investigated a couple of teams for ~2 years. I didn't think he'd put anything in print he's sat on things so long needing "one more piece" to run his story.

But its old news, unless there was a whole lot more to the story that hasn't been told (which is possible).

im a little fuzzy on this story. Is this the kid that whats his name gave an apartment to? If so...i thought we already "self-punished" for this and fired the coach/dismissed player

this could be a problem. but we havent heard as much as a whisper on this in months.

It's Auburn or Alabama.

Actually, it's Cam or Alabama.

Yahoo is the best in the business concerning NCAA investigations. They get shite done. They don't have the reputation or intimidation factor of the NCAA.

So if Yahoo goes snooping around, people may be more open to talk to them.

Yahoo also doesn't have to follow NCAA protocol. I don't know what NCAA protocol is, but i know they have specific rules and regulations they follow.

Yahoo? They can camp out in someone's bushes with a wire if they want to.

I don't think it's LSU because nothing - anywhere - has come out against them. Even ole Singin' Willie (who has already admitted a very small possible violation of LSU) hasn't sang any big LSU violations yet.

Alabama is on probation already, so maybe the "majory" story is a relative minor "major" violation that gets discussion going on the death penalty.

Or they found the link to Cam's money, and Auburn's fricked.

Old news or not. I want them to give us an answer on it. I think we punished ourselves enough to get by. It's not like we have a past history of sanctions. Unless you count the 90's as self imposed

Whoever it is, may they (we) get whatever we deserve. Bring on the pain!

I'll wear crimson no matter what like I always did before Saban got here.

got a feeling it's the lyles/Peterson deal though. sure hope it's the barn though.

I read this, and they're waiting for the bingo trial. No link, it's a private forum.

I just had another thought on this. Didn't Lyles say that he wasn't ready to talk about his dealings with LSU or something like that in an interview recently? Is it possible he sold his story to Yahoo or reached some other agreement not to discuss it with anyone else until Yahoo released its story?

I wouldn't think this is how Yahoo worked, but I thought I would throw it out there.
