I can understand Auburn getting the nod because of their schedule, but Louisville was almost certainly the better team.

That Louisville team had FOUR first rounders drafted so far and FOURTEEN players drafted so far.

Auburn has had two first rounders and 9 total players drafted from that team.

Louisvilles only loss was to a loaded UCF in a freak comeback effort. UCF would go on to beat Baylor and Louisville destroyed Miami in their bowl game.

Auburn got crushed by an average LSU team.

Again, I understand the schedule argument, but Louisville would have beaten Arburn head to head.

Name one team they played that year that you wouldn't criticize an SEC team for putting on their schedule.

When the only team you play with a pulse with that schedule beats you, you're not getting in over a SEC team who plays top teams week in and week out. Nor should you.

They might have been the better team, but they had a crappy schedule and their best regular season opponent they lost to. Auburn beat the #1 team in the nation and had a much better resume.

The better resume will always win out if you're not sure what team is actually better.

Shouldn't a vol fan be more worried about their perennial bottom dwelling crapbag of a team.

Auburn finished the season with wins over two top 5 teams... then played FSU (who no one could stay within 20 points of) off their feet in the title game...

Looking at ULs margin of victories in 2013 over mediocre teams it's crazy anyone could come to your conclusion objectively.

How many losses do we have to UCF?

UCF beat Baylor in a BCS game that year and was lead by a top 3 pick so it's not like they were a bunch of scrubs.

Well, you got one to Middle Tennessee, so there's that.
