I think some of our fans have gone off the deep end. Saban lost to the supposed #1 team by a field goal in overtime, after multiple chances to put points on the board and win the game in regulation. Of course he looked bad after the game, we all did. I'd be more concerned if he didn't look bad.

How do you explain the fact that Maze hit him right in the hands?

It wasn't a very long throw, so no surprise he reached the target. The problem though is that the pressure caused him to sky it and float it like a balloon, which then allowed the talented LSU DB to get to it.

I think the only thing that might bother me about Saban would be if he tried to french kiss an assistant coach. Did Miles do that again after LSU won?

If only Saban had a little more balls on that 4th and 2 late in the game.

Finally someone else mentions this.

A huge sigh of relief when Saban brought his Punter out there for 4th and 2.

If they trot Richardson out there, I think he could have got it.

Glad nick chickened out.

Unfortunately, the guy off the edge got in Maze's grill and made him loft the ball too much, allowing the space for the DB to get over there and make the play of the game.

That's exactly why you don't call that play. There is additional risk involved. In a game that tight, did Bama really need a trick play...from that point on the field?

I don't understand why you run a trick play there when you have Richardson as your RB.

I know right? Calling a play that didn't work was soooo stoopid. Obviously a run up the gut is always the way to go.

I guess Saban just got tired of playing the chess match of kicking field goals and playing field position

You missed it because it hasn't happened. It was a great play call and Williams was wide open. Unfortunately, the guy off the edge got in Maze's grill and made him loft the ball too much, allowing the space for the DB to get over there and make the play of the game.

Might want to read more articles. He is catching it. 1-and-10 from the 28 and Richardson had found a grove....tied game....you chose a wr to throw a pass to a player who has what 12 receptions all season.

Epic fail. On the 28 it was four down territory....you run Richardson 4 times at that point in the game he was going to get 10 yards.

Thanks Coach. We'll be sure to consult with you AFTER plays are ran again to see if you approve.

He lost the game also..........so glad he left LSU. Never did like him........wonder what all those 5* recruits thought about when they lost?

Exactly.

Why not run the Wildcat with TR like they did with
Ingram? It was the only way they beat SC in 09.
