I will take proven performance over hype every day.

You buy into the hype, won't be the first time you were fooled.

I wouldn't. Kyle Allen will lead the SEC in passing, and Myles Garrett/Deashon Hall/Daylon Mack are better than whatever Tennessee has.

Proven shitty performance in Brandon Allen's case.

Bama has a better and deeper DL than you guys do. Barnett would be a LB at Bama. There may be a couple of QBs I would trade for.

Johnson was really impressive before being benched in a tied game at home against BAllen.

Having Barnett and Maggitt in those hideous orange uniforms with the rest of the defense in Razorback red would just clash big time.

Besides, we have some talent behind our two defensive linemen that got drafted this year that just need their opportunity to shine.

Gonna shine Dobb's forehead here in a few weeks.

He's trying so hard right now. Let's see how stupid he can make himself look.

Tell me more about how good Kheil is going to be after beating down Ozark.

You proved yourself to be the QB expert around here.

There isn't a team in the country who wouldn't trade DB units with LSU. #DBfnU

Jamal Adams in the next great SEC safety, IMO. Guy reminds me of Eric Berry in a way.

I wouldn't trade Kyle Allen OR Kyler Murray for anyone else. Myles Garrett will be a top 5 pick in 2 years. Unless he gets lazy or does something stupid, Mack will be one of the best DT's in the league by year 3, if not sooner. DB's OTOH could use some work.

Any idea on Jamal's strength?

Our starting safety Josh Liddell as a true sophomore was filmed squatting 525. Was only a 3* last year coming out of high school.

I'm sure that's pretty good but didn't really know how it compared with other safeties in the conference.

Adams probably is faster.

Barnett and Maggitt are better than anyone Ole Miss has on DL. McKenzie, Tuttle, Phillips and Taylor blow whatever OM's young core out of the water.

You need to actually research a bit before you make such claims. Even though the Vols have young talent, the two units are very comparable.

I would trade for a more experienced QB.

I wouldn't trade for any other DL in the country.

Teams that can realistically say they'd not trade QBs: Tenn, MS State, and Auburn.

Wait, what? I get that UT fans are enthusiastic, but come on.

Dobbs: 11 TDs, 12 ints (9/6 last year)
Allen: 16 TDs, 7 ints and he didn't start until November.

Allen has a higher rating, raw QBR, and adjusted QBR.

On the off-chance that Allen doesn't play well, Don't-Call-Me-Kevin Murray will be ready to set the world on fire.

DL is a tougher call. I'll take our DE's over anybody. Tackle is a bigger unknown but I expect the freshman Mack Truck to turn heads.

Do you believe we should just go ahead and ship the SEC Championship trophy to Knoxville?
