I know you are an unbiased observer who doesn't eat, sleep, and breathe Georgia football, so naturally I put a lot of stock in your opinion.

Compared to the dynamic duo before him of Ray Goff and Jim Donnan, he looks like Vince Lombardi.

Even though I like what BB is doing with the program trading him for Pinkel is an interesting idea. However, Pinkel is getting a bit long in the tooth and retirement is probably coming sooner rather then later for him. If he was fifteen years younger it would be really tempting.

I agree. Plus Richt would run a pro-style offense needing a quality passing qb and oline. Not sure he gets that done at OM. I would trade for Malzahn and that's it. You have to be a good recruiter at OM to be successful. On the basketball side, I would trade for quite a few.

I believe Georgia has like the 4th most players in the NFL as a state. UGA has their pick of most of those players. I don't really see how anybody can see Richt as anything other than an underachiever considering those facts
Maybe the UGA Admin are too skitish about stepping out of their comfort zone? They "seem" content to keep CMR and pencil in a respectable 9-3/10-2 type season every year. As an outsider, I don't understand why they don't raise the bar.

Be patient with Bielema. He's gonna be a really good one. He took what Alvarez built at Wisconsin to a level that Alvarez couldn't reach. Once he finds a solid QB (his best team at Wisconsin was 2010 with Scott Tolzien at QB) and isn't stuck with Brandon Allen, it'll start to come together.

Football: I'm on the Gus Bus. Keep Butch as recruiting coordinator.
Basketball: TBD. Maybe Howland.

Ask me in two years if I want to trade Johnny Jones. He's the winningest coach in his first three years the school has had. Great recruiting class coming in and just hired an awesome assistant who wants to be at LSU. I do like Bruce Pearl a lot though

I wouldn't trade Miles for anyone in the SEC, and it's not even close. Bielema has grown on me a lot, but that's about it. I honestly couldn't name one reason why I'd trade for Sumlin. Freeze has made chicken salad out of chicken shite, but it's too early to tell what his ceiling is

Based on your conditions

Football: no one
Basketball: anyone who can actually recruit the state of Georgia
