Kelly's whole mistique is based on the bama game, where 1 of his scores was off a terrible pass that should have been an int 99.9999999% of the time, and another was an illegal pass with a lineman 7 yards downfield blocking. Id rather have dobbs, freaky looking though he is

yeah all Chad Kelly is hyped because he threw 1 fluke touchdown against Alabama....

The only thing your tiny brain can remember vividly....not the 30 other touchdowns And 3 highest highes passing yards and 3rd highest total yards in SEC history ... In his first year ever.

life must be hard for you being this stupid.

Kelly had a top 5 statistical season all time last year. 4100 yards of offense and 37 TDs. Only Manziel has statistically had better years in the SEC. Not only that, but Kelly did it with an ineffective running game for most of the year and a patched up O-line that was missing at least 2 starters in almost every game.

Dobbs was probably the 4th best QB in the SEC last year.

Only game that mattered was the bama game, 100% true. Ole miss loses that game and nobody is talking about kelly, deal with it

Tebow couldn't throw the ball

This revisionist history is getting out of hand. For not "throwing the ball" he damn sure racked up a ton of numbers.

You know that Dobbs only had like 150 more rushing yards than Chad with 40 more attempts right? Chad also had a better ypc than Dobbs and only 1 less touchdown.

Passing it's not even close. Kelly wins in a landslide. Rushing is close. Dobbs had more yards a 1 more TD, but he also had 40 more attempts. Kelly had 500 yards rushing and 10TDs, with a slightly higher average per rush. Dobbs 4.6 ypc vs. Kelly 4.67 ypc. So I would call that even at worst.

In conclusion you have to pick Kelly. The only reason you might be hesitant would be his past, but he seems to be doing well in Oxford so far.

You really have to ask this question? Chad Kelly and it's not close at all. No offense to Dobbs.

Kelly, and it is worth noting he is the only QB I'd trade Dobbs for.

Kelly reminds me of Kevin Federline only athletic lol. But seriously I'd take Kelly, Dobbs has to improve as a passer.

This is like asking someone would they rather have a hangnail or terminal cancer. One choice is quite a bit better then the other.

Kelly is the better passer and seems to be about as good running the ball. He's the clear winner.

Dobbs was held in check by the Arkansas passing defense for Heaven's sake. The only way we could have had a worse passing D last year is if we hadn't bothered to send any DBs out on the field.

Kelly is the better QB, Dobbs is probably the better person. Kelly to QB my team, Dobbs to be my next door neighbor.

It will hopefully get more effective in the passing game. Either Dormady or Guarantano will take over and they're both significantly better passers than Dobbs. My money is on Guarantano. And if he wins the starting gig next year we will have an amazing offense (assuming we add a baller RB in this class)

Kelly is the better passer. With Dobbs you have almost zero worries that he is going to slap a hooker or fire a gun off over a disagreement at a fast food restaurant. So you have to account for that.

This is the main difference between the ACC and SEC except at a few ACC schools.
The ACC celebrates the term student athlete and most ACC schools except the three or four obvious ones ( FSU, Clemson, Miami and Louisville) the university and football program would take the good college QB who excels at school and in life
