Any time you have a lot of roster turnover, I'd want a warm up.
If little turnover, I want a barn burner

IDGAF who we play. I just want the season to start and off-season threads to end

I like a team like Miss St first game. A team that can beat you about 6% of the time. Perfect mix that allows your team to get ready for the season

It depends on what you mean by legit. Somewhere in the middle is best. A p5 conference bottom half school would be the ideal week one game.
yep. a team like Texas Tech or California

I like what UT has this year and next year. A warmup week 1 and then a quality OOC opponent week 2, before beginning SEC play a week or two later.

A team like Vandy, Kentucky, or A&M. Not like the FCS thrashings but still conference rent a wins

Cupcakes are hard to get excited for. A week one toss-up leaves you feeling awesome if you win, but it can ruin your mood for the season if your team loses.

When you are in the SEC, it really doesn't matter. Your testing will come soon enough. A team like Texas Tech or Syracuse is ideal though, give them some competition other than basically a scrimmage.

With as many young guys as we have, definitely a warm up.

I'm fine with Wisconsin, as far as difficulty goes. I'm glad to play a top 20 team, and it's a perfect match, since they will have a hard time attack our past weaknesses.
I though West Virginia was a perfect opponent. A solid team that was a respectable victory and very winnable. But 2016 & 2017 will be tough with us opening against USC and FSU.
