NO!!! I don't like this idea at all. Bama had their chance to beat Auburn and didn't get it done. why should Auburn have to beat the same team twice? I have no problem with Bama getting to the NC game against MIZZOU if things were to work out that way though.

Worst, oldest, lamest joke in sports message board history.

He's acting like his team is actually his team. LOL!

What man? I was just curious if he actually gets a ring or was excited about buying another T-shirt.

Sure.

As the Iron Bowl dust settles and I read the Alabama forum, it's clear, we have the better coach.

1. I hope Auburn makes the big game.

2. If at all possible, I hope Auburn plays Temple in the big game.

3. I'd be hopeful, but far less than confident, if Auburn played Alabama again.

4. I have to admit, an Auburn-Alabama NCG would probably be the most awesome thing that's ever happened in the history of the entire world -- at least before kickoff.

I will remain very consistent with my answer. Hell no. Michigan and OSU did not deserve a rematch. LSU & Bama did not deserve a rematch. AU & Bama do not deserve a rematch.

The supposed beauty of NCAA football is that "every game counts". If rematches are given apparently the first game meant nothing.

Yes. As if the Iron Bowl wasn't already the most intense rivalry in football, but if you put them in the ROSE BOWL for the final BCS National Title coming off of the ending that the first game had...

It writes itself, and it was such a good game the first time we know the nation would tune in.

When the first game is close then Rematches heavily favor the loser..... Would rather play FSU

But we are under the BCS. If Auburn beats Missouri, OSU and FSU both lose, unless someone finagled the standings to prevent a rematch, Auburn would be 1 and Alabama would be 2. Just the way it works for now.

Nope. I would much prefer Alabama vs FSU but that's likely not going to happen.

Under that scenario there would be possibly 6 teams with 1 loss. AU would obviously be #1, already beat #2 so they should play #3. I know that sounds messed up, but that is just my logic, especially when every game is supposed to count.
