Posted this in another thread:

"I think L5U should give Orgeron the opportunity to extend his 8 game SEC losing streak. I believe that means he would start out owning the longest current losing streak."

He definitely would have a better chance of extending his streak at Mizzou.

Me?

Hell no.

But I do think he's a damn good recruiter.

Depends on the state of the program hiring. He did abhor job taking over at USC post the Kiffin firing. He would have been a better hire than Sarkisian obviously. Would I want him at Bama right now if Saban walked away no but I would not have minded him after Shula considering where Bama was at. If Miles is fired and LSU can not get a huge name at this time I think he deserves a legitimate shot even if it is only say a four year deal with stipulations.

What's up with these weird hypothetical head coach hiring posts...Butch Jones, Ed Orgeron?

Ed Orgeron is excellent at drinking Red Bull at 2 am watching recruiting videos and making his QB's line up and do tackle drills in fall practices.

Other than that, he's a raging buffoon and the worst hire in our history. Save the Nutt commentary, Ed O was/is a walking disaster.
