people would really pay 100-200 bucks for a game that in 3-5 months they won't play?

I'm perfectly happy with Alabama being the best team on the last EA college football game ever.

Suck it guys!

Never played any of the NCAA games.Always preferred pro games over college. Is Madden worth buying anymore?Used to play the shite out of that game in college.

It's funny this was brought up. I have been playing Madden 13 online quite a bit here lately.
yea, the server is still up. I couldn't believe it either.

After playing for a week or two i had to get my hands on ncaa 14. (dMac on the cover!!) I signed up for 30 month free gamefly to get it. i ended up with LOTR instead but that's besides the point. I dusted off my ncaa 09 instead. I'm tellin ya, it's bad. on kick return the kicking team ai follows your every move. every player, lol. it's bad. when you tackle at a funny angle your player disappears for about .5 seconds to get wrapped around the player in a way the game understands. you can't dog the new engines on these games til you replay some of the older ones. on top of that ea doesn't update the server anymore. can't download the 09 graphics version of big bert.

Side note: you can get ncaa 14 on ebay for right around 25 to 35 bucks. fuggin amazon is still charging 55 dollars. wtf.

ETA: 30 day trial

madden 13 is solid. You can't motion receivers when playing a qb career and there's not a fantasy draft anywhere. no fantasy draft sucks pretty bad.

My advice would be to save the 100 bucks and get a life instead.

I probably wouldn't pay 100 for it... but if it was a good game (not made by EA) I'd buy that sucker in a heartbeat.

At $100? Yeah, I probably still would. However, it wouldn't have to be that big of a jump. EA does Madden for $60. I can't imagine the rights for NCAA would be enough to make EA (or whoever makes this theoretical game) break the mold of the standard price point. You might see it go to $70, but that would be as high as I would expect.

it wouldn't work.

lets be real

just fan base wise, players from Tulane aren't selling the same amount of games as players from LSU

You don't pay extras the same as headliners.
