Last time Michigan was relevant they were talking an Ohio St. rematch...you just wait and see if that happens

But, I pick Bama by 18.

Why is everyone so concerned about Alabama? You'd think you guys would be looking forward to your own season(s),but no, everyone wants to ride the champ's coattails nowadays.

I know it's easier to believe this but considering it's one of the very few big games to start the season, it should come as no surprise that people on a college football message board are discussing. Is there another top ten matchup, no matter how overranked UM is, during the first weekend?

I know you need to believe what you said, but the simple fact of the matter is that if Alabama was playing North Texas like LSU, nobody would talk about it either. LSU had similar talk last year against Oregon.

Just left the Bama scrimmage. If Michigan were to beat this team, then I expect to never hear the end of it. Bama is gonma be a damn strong football team. $1 to Les Miles.

What would happen if Fred Flinstone upset Saban?

I don't know but one thing's for sure, tidefans.com would ban all non-bammers...oh wait

[quote]Remember, in the minds of most Gumps and some members of the media, when Bama loses it wasn't beaten by the other team. Instead, Bama beat itself. To these people, Bama losing is an oxymoron.[

In 2010 Bama lost three games to teams that beat them. In 2011 Bama lost one game by beating themselves. Now frick off and deal with it.

This is fricking hilarious coming from you. Especially being that you made a whole thread about Mett's scrimmage stats and said they weren't "up to his standards".

I dont know about that. Michigan is good. They are a respected historical quality team. its also early.

The biggest pucker factor game I am waiting for is Mizzou against UGA. I think Georgia will win, but not without a fight.

AU/Clemson - could go either way. Neither victor would be an upset. That is unless Auburn somehow pulled a WVU and hung some huge number on Dildo Sweeney and company. However, I dont think Chizik would do that.

If that happens, ESPN would be printing up the tickets for a USC-Michigan BCSCG.

As evidenced last year Bama's regular season losses don't count against them. It would be weeks of "Is this the year the SEC is dethrowned" BTW the answer is NO! Crystal ball is going to Baton Rouge or Tuskaloser

Bama would never stop being ESPN's media darling even with a loss.

Just like last year, they would have Saban on every ESPN talk show justifying the loss.

Yep, and the polls that next week would show Bama dropping one spot, and Michigan moving up to the spot immediately below Bama.

no because apparently SEC teams losing to Big 10 teams (even if they are top 10) is an unforgivable sin!!!

To Ohio State, in a bowl game, yes it's unforgivable.

You mean like Bama rode LSU's coattail's to the BCSCG? Bama's best win , last year, was a loss , to LSU.

Dear Lord, please let Michigan beat the hell out of Alabama so I can enjoy the meltdown.

The only thing that would excite me more than Michigan pulling the upset would be Auburn beating Clemson.

I don't want to see it. Honestly I believe if Michigan, USCw, and LSU go undefeated. LSU is in the Sugar Bowl
