ESPN would totally hop on anything that's non-SEC, especially Michigan. I don't expect it to happen at all, but even if Michigan is close, there are still going to be articles on how they should have won. It's just like LSU and Oregon last year. LSU clearly won, but to some people, Oregon gave them the win.

no because apparently SEC teams losing to Big 10 teams (even if they are top 10) is an unforgivable sin!!!

Remember, in the minds of most Gumps and some members of the media, when Bama loses it wasn't beaten by the other team. Instead, Bama beat itself. To these people, Bama losing is an oxymoron.

NO Michigan would be immediately crowned national champs by ESPN.

They're going to win and we'll have to hear about how unbeatable Bama is.

I wouldn't let Bama hear the end of it until the 2013 season starts.

It's because the Big Ten is the "Yankee" or Northern league that makes it a sin.

Why is everyone so concerned about Alabama? You'd think you guys would be looking forward to your own season(s),but no, everyone wants to ride the champ's coattails nowadays.

How old are you? Michigan has always been a media darling, along with USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State.

Bama would never stop being ESPN's media darling even with a loss.

Just like last year, they would have Saban on every ESPN talk show justifying the loss.

Yup, I lost even more respect for him when he came and gave us no credit at all. It's amazing what a hypocrite that joke of a human being is.
