IF Justin Tucker doesn't make that FG, is Mike Sherman still the head coach?
Most likely but I am glad he made it. Although we could have won the fricking game

Losses to K-State and Baylor.
JFF might put up 700 total yards of offense on that defense

JFF would shred the Big 12. JFF loses 4 in the SEC.

Probably not. I could easily see losses to Kansas St., TT, OU, Texas and Okie St. Not saying they would lose all of those games but easily 2 of them.

Wait, are some in this thread saying TCU and WVU "might" beat A&M? TCU barely beat Kansas even with their QB, and WVU has had an embarrassment of a season so far. I don't care if WVU is technically ranked or not, they suck and were highly overrated. We are talking about a MWC and Big East team playing in a BCS conference.
The Big 12 has 3 teams who are truly top 25 teams; KSU, OU, TT. Whether we won some or all of those games probably depends on where the game was played. All are at worst 50/50 at Kyle.

My alternate reality upset of the year.

All 3 would be at Kyle as all 3 were on the road last year.
The Baylor comment was funny. A&M smoked Baylor the last 2 years WITH RGIII but yet now Baylor would beat A&M in spite of a winless Big 12 record? Sure.

We probably would have beat KSU and OU at home but lose to OSU on the road.
Do not really care because we are now in the SEC.
However, the only schools in the Big 12 that get favors are OU and Texas. If there are 3 undefeated teams at the end of this year and KSU is one of them; they will get the shaft. No way it would happen to OU or Texas but all the other schools are out of luck.

Pshhhh.... A&M has lost twice to Baylor in the past 30 years. A&M beat Baylor the last two years even though Baylor had RGIII. Baylor's garbage this year.
A&M would lose to K-State, but would destroy Baylor.

The Aggie move to the SEC was brilliant, emphasized by this discussion. By virtue of being in the Southeastern Conference they have became significantly more relevant in the larger topic of college football. The stage is bigger and they have gained a stronger identity and brand enhancement away from Longhorn dominance in the media spotlight. Looking at the two programs in the first year of their move you would have to regard the A&M decision to be a stunning strategic success.

The answer to the original question doesnt exist. We dont know because A&M is in the SEC...the "what ifs and could have beens" are not relevant.
I personally think A&M could be undefeated, but I dont know the intricate team rivals and what goes on in the big 12 except they suck and have no defense.

What's more relevant? 8-4 in the SEC or 12-0 or 11-1 in the Big 12.

sharpsee,
More important that we are in the SEC. Did not realize we were already 8-4.
All that maters is we are in the SEC and after only 1 year it is helping us with recruiting and recognition.
