Peyton and Gruden are also listed in Vegas’ top 5. I’m not buying that.

Tennessee fans would be happy with passing a good gall stone after CBJ. Thing is, the next HC won't be any better. Why would any good coach want to come to UT?

UT has a lot of name recognition. Get someone who can really recruit, especially out of state and you could have a really good team.

I don't think Tenn will always be down. IT took a sequence of bad choices to get there.

Lane Kiffen bailing.

Dooley.

And Butch, but at least Butch got them some talent.

Get a guy who can get talent, keep and develop it and they might be making a run against GA for the East in a few years.

Who do you think will be legitimate candidates?

A coach with a National Title under his belt and a multiple SEC titles would seemingly be a pretty legitimate candidate.

Tennessee should go all in on Fleck.

You would think so. If Les Miles really wanted a job (I’m not sure he does) I think it’s would be a good fit. Let Miles come in and bring in top 10 recruiting classes for 5 years while winning 10 games a year and turn the program over to an elite coach.

Would LSU consider rehiring Miles?

Playing in the SEC East I think he probably gets Tennessee in the SEC championship game in 3 years.

So how bad are all the coaches in the West outside of Saban?

If Miles is to coach again, it would be at a program like Tennessee. Can probably win 9-10 games, recruit really well, and will only coach for a few years. He would be similar to Spurrier.

Have a few good teams, and fill the gap between a bad coach and a new coach.

Fleck's a frickin winner though.

You'd love the cheeseball phrases if you're winning.

I mean, TENN already blows. With MILES leading the way, TENN would suck worse than a Hoover
