They are 3-4 years of 7-5 seasons before they would consider firing him.

Well yeah. We need LSU to find the head coach we are going to steal from them before we can do it. That means we have to at least keep Sumlin till Les is gone, because there is no way the Texags Gestapo would protect Les's wife like the mods do here.

The honest answer is it depends how it happens. Aside from another first round offensive tackle, we return almost every player of importance next season. This isn't a senior laden team. 2016, Sumlin needs to compete for an SEC Title, or he's really going to be on the hot seat. But that's the difference between LSU and A&M. Les Miles will float around 8 or 9 wins the next 3 or 4 seasons and his seat won't even be warm.
