or would Aggy get real restless?

As long he beat LSU ( ) he would be safe.

If history repeats itself 7-5 would get him a raise

He would be on the hot seat. But I don't see a situation where he gets fired this year.

He wouldn't be fired, but his seat would heat up quickly.

Some Aggies would likely become restless; others wouldn't.
Doubt you'll receive any kind of fixed answer (if you do, take it with a grain of salt).
Count me as one who wouldn't "get real restless."

TAMU is predicted by some to win the SEC... he would be safe, but at some point they want better results.

He'd get another year.
What about Les? Does he get fired for 7-5 this year?

We'll find out in a few months.

Depends somewhat on which teams are among the 7, and which are among the 5.
For the money he's getting though, 7-5 is not a good ROI.
I think he's got to show something better soon, or he gone.

His seat probably starts to warm up if this happens. He won't be fired though.

I agree with this, but I think an improved defense will actually help Sumlin's cause. Still think he gets another year with a 7-5 season.

He'll be ok this season, absolutely. Even a losing record and he's ok. If he goes 7-5 this year, 7-5 next year he would then be on a tight leash but he is in no way, shape or form on any kind of hot seat, yet.

Just for the record, he's 11-2, 9-4, and 8-5 in his three years at A&M, with a top 5 finish in the polls and a 3-0 record in bowl games. Three years ago, I'd have been laughed off the rant for predicting that kind of success in Sumlin's first three years.
I think we go 9-4 this year.

Safe? Yes. He's locked into a long term deal. But that is like saying would Saban be safe with a 7-5 record. It aint happening. A&M wins 9 games minimum.

If we go 7-5 with a noticeabley improved defense something went horribly wrong on offense
And no he wouldn't get fired but next year would be a big year. I think 7-5 this year and 2016 might do it
