Yes, if Bama had better players they might have beat Auburn. Too bad they just had butter fingers at RB.
Oklahoma beat OSU by nine points. Mizzou beat OSU by ten. Oklahoma beat Bama by 14. Obviously, Mizzou would have beaten Bama by 15. Blowout city.

Mizzou would not have won the west.
They lost to the best team in the East at home and did not get a signature win until the bowl game. Their best win during the regular season was over the number 4 team in the West division. Their second best win was...Vanderbilt.
I don't think they could've withstood a whole season playing West opponents. They would have finished 4th.
