Yes were going to suck, but at least I got to witness Bama steal LSU's thunder in n the middle of the golden years of LSU football and surplwntvthem as the premier program in college football. It was glorious.

Did you look at the thread title? A question was asked and an answer was given. I think it is a dumb move and i stated my facts. Why are you here questioning my answer, sorry if you do not agree with me. God you sound like the idiot.
Check back and look at who you quoted, then look at who you responded to, THEN tell me who the idiot is. .....and please don't call me God.

Lane Kiffin as an OC:

quote:

For the 2004 season, he added the duties of passing game coordinator, and he was promoted to offensive coordinator for the 2005 season after Norm Chow left USC for the same position with the NFL's Tennessee Titans. Kiffin also took the reins as recruiting coordinator that year. Along with these duties, Kiffin continued as the wide receivers coach. Under Kiffin in 2005 the USC offense produced numerous school records, averaging 49.1 points and 579 yards per game and becoming the first in NCAA history to have a 3,000 yard passer (Matt Leinart), two 1,000 yard rushers (Reggie Bush and LenDale White), and a 1,000 yard receiver (Dwayne Jarrett). Steve Smith fell a few yards of also surpassing 1,000 yards in receiving. In Kiffin’s three years as recruiting coordinator at USC, the Trojans had the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in college football every year. The Trojans finished first in the Pac-10 in passing efficiency by averaging 142.8 passer rating, produced two, 1,000-yard receivers – Dwayne Jarrett (1,105) and Steve Smith (1,083) – and a 3,000-yard passer John David Booty, with 3,347 yards. The team produced top 20 statistics in most NCAA offensive categories and concluded with a 32–18 win over the then #3 ranked team the University of Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

The Bama deflection in this thread is hillarious. If you guys really want Kiffin, then enjoy.

This thread really shows how desperate and pathetic LSU fans are. Trying so hard to cling to a hypothetical/fantasy they desire to happen even if it brings little to no difference to their demise either way.

Go back a few years and look at Bama fans' criticisms of Kiffen, then look at how they are embracing him and excusing his failures, claiming that he has "grown up" and that he is really a "great coach" now. Now, which fan base is "pathetic"?

At least we are consistent with bashing him... Unlike some team's fan base we know.

My point is, does it really matter if Kiffin comes to Bama if LSU is still losing by double digits? LSU fans are just hoping he suddenly becomes 70% of Alabama's overall coaching authority which by any circumstance wouldn't happen . Even at Kiffin's worst, that in my mind would only equal one other loss at least for next years schedule.

Keep on dreaming.

Yeah, exactly like I said. So, numbnuts, why don't you tell us how many more yards Tennessee gained under Kiffin than they did before. And while you're at it, tell us how much better Crompton was. How much better was Hardesty and their running game?

Go ahead...I'll wait.

Jesus...you really are this stupid, aren't you? You don't have any more brain cells than the other LSU fan who things that being unsuccessful as a head coach means that he'll be unsuccessful as an offensive coordinator, as if the two jobs are even remotely similar. What the frick is it with you people?

You're really one stupid coonass. Would you like to go back and pull up some threads about Nick Saban when he was LSU's coach, and then pull some current ones?
Do you always allow your mouth to overload your arse? Try stopping and giving your post a little thought before you punch that button...and make sure you're quoting the right person, too ...just a suggestion
