If Ingram & Henry could win Heisman @ Bama....LF could have won 3

Maybe.. But that's my point. If he would have gone to Bama he might have been the GOAT.. Now he wont even be remembered outside of LSU.

One, but I'm glad you mentioned losses because, again, that's taken into account way too often.

I don't know about all time greats.

In 2014 when Fournette was a true freshman, he would have sat behind Henry and Yeldon. He would have gotten some carries and caught some attention, but no where near enough to warrant awards his freshman year.

In 2015 he would have backed up Henry. He would have probably made an argument for being the best running back on Alabama's team, but with the way Henry was running, LF wouldn't have unseated him as starter.

So in 2016 Fournette would be running wild on the SEC as really the only true great running back on the roster. I'd imagine he'd turn pro after this year anyway.

So would that be enough for GOAT? Bo, Herschel, and Barry all made serious noise from their first year until their last.

Henry may not even be in the NFL in 3 years

Fournette will have an 8-10 year career and will likely be a Pro-Bowler. He will be remembered for a while because of that.

Fournette will be remembered more than Henry and Ingram even though they somehow won the Heisman

Not for anything he did in college, except maybe in 504 or 225.

OP's mom didn't press her tits on him like he wanted when she tucked him in bed as a teenager. It'll be ok.

But being remembered as. Great player in your home state wouldn't be terrible.

He was a couple of yards away from 2k last year after have a game cancelled, and slowed by an injury this year. He'll probably still go over 1k this year. You cousin fricking trolls are insufferable.

Wrong again. People will remember him as a dynamic playmaker that ran over people but had absurd speed and balance for his size. 2015 AU, 2015 UF, but 2016 UM games come to mind as memorable demonstrations of his talent.

No one, and I mean no one, feared playing either of your Heisman winners. They were just on championship teams.

And won't have anything to show for it... Again just proving my point.

It's really not debatable. Unless LF7 is a great pro (which he could be) he will be forgotten because he was nothing we haven't seen before in college numbers wise and didn't win any awards or championships.

5When we think of the all time greats we talk about Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker, Barry Sanders, and Archie Griffin. Then comes the Heisman level running backs. Reggie Bush*, Ricky Williams, Eddie George, Mark Ingram, Derrick Henry, Marcus Allen, etc.

Next is the third tier of really good running backs that won maybe a Doak Walker award.. Darren McFadden, LaDainian Tomlinson, Trent Richardson,Toby Gerhart, and Melvin Gordon.

Next is a tier of backs that has no hardware and no championships to show for their time in college. Leonard Fournette is sadly in this last group of running backs.. He wont win any major awards like a Heisman or Doak Walker award, and he certainly wont win any championships.. People from LSU will remember him, but most people will forget about the kid within 5 years.

If Leonard Fournette had go to Bama he could have possibly been in the discussion as Greatest College Running Back ever. I mean Alabama got Mark Ingram and Derrick Henry to Heisman level.. I'll admit as far as pure talent goes LF is better than both of those.. But he's been on some shitty teams with no shot at getting the spotlight you need to be in the discussion as GOAT.

And how many championships did: Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker, Barry Sanders, Archie Griffin, Ricky Williams, Eddie George, Darren McFadden, LaDainian Tomlinson, Toby Gerhart, and Melvin
Gordon win between them ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

If Fournette had gone to Alabama, he would have split time with Henry and neither one would have won the Heisman.

In 2015 at one point LSU was 7-0 and #2 in the BCS last year and ended up winning 9 games and their bowl game (would have been 10 but McNeese was cancelled) How exactly is that 'shitty' ??????????
???????????????????????????????????????????????????

In 2014 our "shitty" team had you beat until one of your players baited an LSU linemen into a personal foul. But then again, like Geico, it's what you do.

People will remember when he went up against a NFL caliber defense he was completely shut down...

If he was at Bama he never would of faced that defense in a game..
