It's never about the QB with Bama or Saban.
Saban won one with Mauck at QB, a future dentist!

They would have gone 15-0 with Ardarius Stewart at qb. That kid is one of the most explosive athletes I've seen in a while.

I agree. 14-1 is about right if you were referring to Jimmy.

And after a lot of thought, I'd say 13-2 with Martha under center.

I think that one of the problems would be that he couldn't throw the ball to himself. His throw to OJ on the move in the Clemson game was more accurate and difficult than anything Jalen threw all season.

Jalen got wide eyed as a true freshman in the national championship game. He made some very nice throws during the season. That throw was the best throw from the Alabama side during the national championship game; however, Jalen is also a better runner than Ardarius. I believe Alabama would have gone 15-0 this year with a healthy Eddie Jackson, but injuries area a part of the sport. Still a great season for Alabama fans.

No, too one dimensional. Hurts could beat you with his legs more and Defenses would have not had to protect against it as much. Plus Stewart was the best WR last year, he could throw to himself.

This just wasn't stupid enough when you posted it in that other thread, so you had to make it a topic.
