Louisville's schedule is pretty week I couldn't imagine Auburn not jumping them

Yes. I like Louisville but they didn't play anywhere near the quality of opponents as Auburn. However, they would have torn Arkansas a new one.

Tough call but I think so due to schedule, etc.

[quote]After watching Teddy Bridgewater and Kentucky Sr dominate Miami yesterday this question crossed my mind. I think the three straight victories against ranked opponents would have sealed the deal.

Pre-BCS say 1984 your tiggers would be fricked, but lets look at this objectively and just go back a short time one year ago in placing an undefeated Notre Dame in that slot who is a media darling they would have knocked you clean off the table.

Yes. Would not have jumped undefeated Oregon or Stanford. Possibly Ohio State

Media acts like theirs no way a 1-loss would jump an undefeated. You know they would have though.

Louisville is still better than Ohio State.

Beating Alabama deifies any team, regardless of record.

This thread is terrible. How bored are you that you came up with this mind-numbingly worthless idea for discussion.

Louisville had zero chance of going undefeated. They can beat anyone but can also lose to anyone (like, literally anyone). Bridegwater's UL has always been that way. They have a few really solid playmakers, but after that, not much talent.
