After watching Teddy Bridgewater and Kentucky Sr dominate Miami yesterday this question crossed my mind. I think the three straight victories against ranked opponents would have sealed the deal.

ETA : Another hypothetical: Jameis or Teddy for Heisman if Louisville runs the table?

interesting question that i also asked myself. tough to say for sure. i'd think no since Louisville would have run the table with their heisman candidate at QB. not saying they would deserve or not. but i think thats how the polls would have workeed out.

Based on some of the close games they played against horrible teams, I say yes Auburn would have jumped them. Had Louisville beaten everyone on their schedule convincingly, then no way.

Where did all these insecure Auburn fans come from? Where did all these Aubies come from period? You saw maybe 5 auburn posters that posted regularly and now that auburn is actually winning, all of them are coming out of the wood works.
Auburn's in the championship game. No need to worry about retarded hypotheticals.

Auburn had too many last minute (and possibly fluke) wins.

I think that if they had won their games against Bama, Georgia, and State more convincingly they would jump Louisville in that hypothetical. But as it stands, I don't think they would have.

Dude stfu. I'm sorry Arkansas is irrelevant, don't try to drag the rest of us down with u. This was just a thread to spark a little discussion based on a hypothetical question I had. I rarely post and don't start many threads so this isn't about attention.

It wouldn't be an Auburn thread without you in it would it?

ETA: And nobody's "worrying" about these hypotheticals, I just thought it would be something to discuss, but we can't have discussion because some ppl just can't cope with Auburn being successful and flame every Auburn thread.

Lol. Auburn fans have been starting a ton of self validation threads lately. "We're good, right guys?? RIGHT?!" Act like you've been there before.

And you've been in all of them saying the same thing. I really don't see the OP's question as being such.

To answer your question, no. I think the voters would have done whatever possible to keep the SEC out of it this year.

Auburn would of jumped an undefeated Louisville. However; it would of gotten real interesting if USCe lost to UCF. That would of made things very close at the end.
