I don't watch stats, I watch football games. So yeah, no reasoning needs to be done here.

A upset is ole miss over LSU. Not Auburn over A&M.

By your trolling-arse definition of "upset," no, Ole Miss over LSU would not be an upset, because it wouldn't surprise ANYBODY.

It would surprise the shite out of me if Ole Miss won that game.

The point spread alone determines what an upset is.

The rest is just emotional crap. Money never lies.

Given they are double digit underdogs, it would actually be a substantial upset.

If the game were played at BR, I might be surprised.

An LSU fan (or Ranter for that matter) that actually gets this concept?

You're no sidewalk fan are you? You actually set foot on LSU's campus as a student, didn't you?

Au's record is product of improvement and a weak schedule to date; all games except one (loss at LSU) has been at home. Their schedule is back loaded with their tougher games. Very similar to MSST last year. I don't believe they will lose all their remaining SEC games like MSST did last year but they certainly could. We will know if they are a pretender due to a weak schedule to date or an improved team that will compete with the top tier teams but lose and win the mid level games.

Right now I still see them as an 8-4 team, which is a huge improvement from last year. If they split the @UT/ARK games and lose to TAMU/UGA/BAMA (UGA due to injuries is their best chance-healthy UGA would be a def L) Finishing 7-5 after a 5-1 start I would say, while it is an improvement, it would have to be a very disappointing finish to the season.

Washington St W31-24
Arkansas St W38-9
Miss. St W24-20
LSU L35-21
Ole Miss W30-22
W Carolina W62-3

@TAMU L -45-31
FAU W 49-17
@UT TU
@ARK TU
UGA L 34-27
BAMA L 31-13

A&M has the worst defense in the SEC by far. It would not be an upset.

Manziel has gotten lucky on several occasions due to poor form tackling and pure luck on his receivers being in the right place at the right time as he hurls passes up in the air with no particular target. Had a few of those passes not been caught A&M could easily be looking at two losses right now.

Absolutely. Who are we kidding here, guys? OP's right. I just hope A&M is able to upset Auburn.

I like you too.(some homo)

But I'm afraid I'm serious here.

It's not that I think auburn is great, I just think A&M is extremely over rated. The only reason people still take them serious is they lucked into a shootout with Bama.

This game is a coin toss. And if I call tails, and it lands on heads, that would not be a upset.
