I'm worried about arky. Not Auburn.

And you are smart to be worried. Arky is no push over, just like Auburn is solid all around. The SEC West is staked as frick. There are no days off.

An upset? Yes
A surprise? Not really

This is probably the clearest and most accurate response to the OP.

It would be an upset according to Vegas.

I bet more people bet on Auburn winning this game. The fact that the spread is 14 will point people in that direction. Meaning Vegas can't make or lose money on a toss up game.

Not me. You asked me several months ago. I think you are thinking about another person.

Not in my opinion, Auburn has a solid team this year.

My definition of a upset, is a surprise. A team that wins that was never suppose to have a chance.

According to Vegas odds, AU over A&M will be an "upset". By "more people bet on Auburn winning" I am assuming that you mean more people will pick Auburn to cover the 14-point spread, or do you mean that more people will pick AU straight up? If that is in fact true, expect that line to close in a hurry.

That's an odd definition of an upset, but given that no, it wouldn't be one.

Under most people's definition, a 13 point dog winning is an upset.

It would be an upset. But Auburn is on the rise, and it's definitely within the realm of possibility. A&M just might lose to TWO Alabama teams if they're not careful...

I see what you are saying, but I see the upset part coming from numbers and trends (and rankings). In that regard, aTm should win. However, there is the factor of aTm's defense vs a very good Auburn offense takes out the element of surprise for me. I can see a scenario where Auburn's offense is quite successful

We beat both last year, so payback's a bitch, I guess.

And that scenario would be one where they play the Aggies' shittastic defense.

Don't you know the routine around here? If AU wins, it must mean that A&M sucks or had a down game.

But AU will win and I do not think it's an upset. I expect AU to win.

When JFF leaves A&M, they will go back to a 6 win team.
