He is probably the worst coach in the league.
You're basically arguing that State and UF are equal programs. I'm not saying I disagree, just a bit surprised that a gator would take this stance.

Kerwin won't ever make it to UF sadly.

I wanted Kerwin for OC during the hiring process. I think he would do great at UF. Still very happy with Roper.

Also, consider that State was the worst program in the league, record wise, when Mullen took over. He's now had 4 consecutive winning seasons.
Muschamp took over a program that had won multiple national titles, hadn't had a losing season in damn near 30 years, is located in the most talent rich part of America, and he somehow managed to lose 8 games in year two.
Hell, Derek Dooley never managed to lose more than 7, and even he took over a program in FAR worse shape.

If anything his first season can be attributed to the winning culture Meyer had instilled in the program.

Spurrier wouldnt take the job if offered top dollar.
Meyer wont be offered and is done in the SEC he's not a SEC coach. Everyone knows this, surprised u dont.
Strong is at a tier 1 school. He will make or set back his career at Texas.
Mullen is ready for that mega offer and has paid his dues. Someone will be calling for Mullen soon enough.

Maybe Mullen. Spurrier and Strong both have beef with Foley, and Meyer literally doesn't have the heart for it.

Let me organize my response into three different sections:
1. You are fricking stupid.
2. What i was saying, you useless UT fan, (9 in a row) is that although Muschamp has had 2 down seasons in terms of Gator football's expectations, he has more wins agaisnt top 25 teams than Mullen has against WINNING teams, and that while Muschamp may not be the guy, Mullen certainly isn't.
3. You are doing exactly what I said, blaming Muschamp for every loss but not giving him credit for his key victories in 2012. Everyone does it, and they do it because they are afraid of the alternative, that 2012 is the norm, and 2013 the outlier. And that means UT may never beat UF ever again.

Don't understand why UF fans are touchy about this. I think it's a good question. How many schools have two guaranteed Hall of Fame former coaches still active and two former coordinators with the success that Mullen and Strong have had? All this is while the current coach is struggling. WM has the pedigree but not the production. Florida can and should do better. Y'all wouldn't let Zook tear the house down why does this a-hole get a fourth shot at it?

Ask Foley.

I mean Mullen has a better winning % at State than Muschamp does at UF.
So what is Mullen's record against FSU and Miami? Oh, wait.

Also consider like others have said that Mullen/State really only beats team he is supposed to beat and loses to teams they are supposed to lose too.
And not to mention their schedule is so damn shitty. Their East Perm is UK while UFs is LSU.
AND lets not forget if OM didn't shite the bed last year State finishes the season 5-7 and Mullen is on an even hotter seat this year than Muschamp is.

Worse coach? He had a bad year after going 11-1 the year before...but lets continue your twisted lack of intelligence babble and go on the assumption that a bad season makes a bad coach..well shite for brains what do you classify Jones then? He had a terrible year...even UF punked him.
Oh...wait a minute Jed...I know you wanna say something in defense of Jones...like it was his first year and all....well Muschamp took over a 7-5 program from Meyer and did manage an ugly 7-6 season...where was UT last year? Muschamp also has plenty of reasons for the 4-8 season...like second and third string QBs having to play etc etc along with very few OL healthy and LBs etc etc
WHAT THE HELL has UT done lately? Jed...you fountain of babblecrap...tell us THAT...stop taking potshots at UF cause you have nothing to bring to the table pal. You jelly? Get ready for another beatdown this year. Although I personally think you have the right coach if fans can be patient...at least I can compliment rivals.

It's kind of hilarious how you add Muschamp' bowl win to make his 6-6 year look better but omit both Meyer's bowl win and Muschamp's bowl loss.
Also "took over a 7-5 (actually 8-5' a win total Muschamp has only reached once) program" is a bit rich, given that the 5 year average for the team Muschamp took over is better than his best season ever.
