No, I was merely pointing out the fact that UT sucks. 9 in a row.

Hot seats are always a viable topic, and you have to imagine Muschamp's is the hottest.

Great answer for all you UF fans who just can't seem to stop asking WHY. By the way Muschamp should have been gone after last season.

Spurrier is going to retire at USC

Urban will never comeback, he's at OSU for good.

Why would Charlie Strong leave the best job in the nation.

Florida will never hire Dan because he will never be "proven" enough because he doesn't have the talent at State that he would have at Florida. I think Mullen is a hell of a coach when you look at what he has done for our program. I think he could put Florida in SECCG with the talent they have down there.

If LSU has a UF-like collapse with injuries this season, goes 4-8, and loses to a school like Tulane, would you want him fired?

Muschamp won 11 games 2 years ago, something Zook never even came close to accomplishing.

A knowledgeable football person knows that UF doesn't go 4-8 without even half of those injuries occuring.

I want to point out that I don't think they go after a previously employed coach after Muschamp is fired later this year, just that I think the 4 listed in the OP would all be major upgrades.

yea, this is why they are giving him another year, because I know y'all did get bit by the injury bug last year.
His 11 win season 2 yrs ago.. was not a pretty 11 win season followed up with a loss to Louisville in the bowl game. And I don't think Will handled himself very well last year when y'all went downhill. He was losing his mind on the sidelines last year. Do I even have to mention the fact he hired Charlie Weis to be his OC... terrible move. But hey maybe he will learn from his mistakes, and y'all will pull out a great season. Y'all definitely have the talent for a huge turnaround.

He did not lose his mind last year. That was his first year and some of the second. He was calm for him last year.

Its the same everywhere... All people that dislike Florida try to write off the 11-2 season and make excuses for why it doesn't matter, and spend all their time trying to justify how 4-8 is the only story that matters.

You know, I don't think FLorida is going to be as good as I want them to be this year, but they are going to be solid and make some other teams cry this year. It's going to be sweet after last year.

Lets say Muschamp has another disastrous season

Lets say Leslie has his shite pushed in by the Gators this year in the Swamp (its coming kitty fans and you KNOW it) and that he loses three other games...is Dinardo still available? How about Felini? He seems like a nice calm guy
and probably loves the media. Just make sure he trims his nose hair though.

Derek Dooley had a better winning percentage at La. tech that at UT. That's pretty dam telling.

Wait, I'm not hugely enamored with Mullen but this is a crap analogy- MSU plays a schedule only slightly less difficult than Florida's with significantly worse talent for Mullen to have a better winning percentage than Boom is pretty telling.

Mullen has beaten exactly nobody.

Here are the teams from BCS conferences that he has defeated with a winning record:

9-4 Ole Miss = 41-27 - 2009
8-5 Ole Miss = 17-10 - 2013
8-5 Florida = 10-7 - 2010
7-6 Kentucky = 31-24 - 2009
7-6 Michigan = 52-14 - 2009

Mullen has beaten NO ONE. He has only beaten 5 BCS teams with a winning record in FIVE YEARS!!!

Muschamp beat 4 top 15 BCS teams in ONE SEASON.

Consider this: Mullen has only beaten one BCS team with a winning record in the past 3 seasons. HOLY frick. That is bad.

Muschamp is not that bad.
