Petrino would never have that type of talent wherever he goes because he can't recruit. Recruiting is the most important thing in college football, and Petrino is terrible at all.

He's been in fricking Kentucky and Arkansas...He would have the same problem in Tennessee, but not LA...

It doesn't matter. Please explain to me how freaking Vanderbilt had a higher ranked recruiting class than a top 5 SEC team?
BTW, Tennessee had more d1 signees in the state than Louisiana last year, the talent is getting a lot better.

You didn't answer the question. Explain how Arkansas is still recruiting like UK, eventhough they won 11 games? Its because Petrino is a terrible recruiter and has a ceiling. He will never win a SEC championship until he builds complete teams and he won't do that until he recruits better, which will never happen.

Even the best recruiter will have a hard time brining out of state 5* to NWA...just the truth, but it seems to be working out OK.

Because history shows that teams with top recruiting classes win SEC championships.
Name one team without a top 15 class to win a national championship or SEC championship? Just one? There isn't one.
Petrino's best players were ranked 4 stars, all on offense. He loads up on one side of the ball and recruits terribly everywhere else. When Arky played a complete team like LSU or Bama last year, they were completely embarrassed like every other team in the SEC. That is Petrino's ceiling.
Teams are only going to get better while Petrino is still bringing in average at best talent on defense. The Sec has been down as a whole the past 2 years. It is a big reason for USCjr's success too. I would take so many other coaches over Petrino because he can't win a championship.

Look, it doesn't take an intelligent man to look at Houston Nutt and see what he left both Arky and OM when he left. He built our program back and we are starting the season top 10 while finishing last season #5. You can keep dreaming of coaches to take over UT, but you are stuck with Dooley and have to deal with it.
We may never win another championship in my lifetime, but I'd fricking bet that as long as BMFP is here....we'll be a better program than UT.

You didn't win this many games because of those guys except for Greg Childs, who was recruited by Mike Leach and Tennessee.

Arky won on offense and it was because of their passing attack. They outscored teams because of those players. I can find 3 star talent on every team that over achieved but you can't build teams around them like Arky does.
You got one 4star on defense, good for you. Do you honestly think one player is going to make a big difference on arguably the worst defense in the SEC?
USCjr is not a complete team, they have succeeded because of UGA, UF, and UT being down.
LSU and Bama are the only teams that are elite in the West right now. Auburn could say it two years ago, but they are down again too. A big reason Arky is successful now. When Auburn was good, they put up 65 on Arkansas.
Take a look at Petrino's record when he played as many freshmen as Dooley did last year. Petrino went 5-7 including a loss to UK. Sound familiar?
Keep thinking that, but even with UT going 5-7 it is still a 100x better program than Arky will ever dream to be.

Are we the worst Defense really? I also remember hiring a new defensive staff that will coach in 2012 including coordinator (that shut down tebow jr)
